Got a chance to pick up some slh here in daygo yesterday.

Smell and taste are superb. Very light and refreshing with a warm, tingly aftertaste. 9/10

High is very nice but a little more mild than i had hoped for. 7/10

Quality meds for sure but i think i prefer lemon skunk to haze.

Overall 8/10

A friend gave me some SLH he got from a coffeeshop in Amsterdam (not sure which one). It tasted uniquely like beer. Yeasty, almost...

I think this is what people can expect when they grow dutch sativa's from seed at home.

If people want to grow 'real' Super Lemon Haze, they need Arjan to give them a cut from the mother (which would NEVER happen).

Anything else will not be authentic Super Lemon Haze. It took me years to understand why the best strains are 'clone only' and how genetics work.

The people in cali have the right idea - if you want the real strain, you need to get a cutting so everyone is growing the exact same genetics.

When growing from seed, there's not too many strains that will give you stable, great plants that are similar to the mother plant.

Sad to say but I think you're right Crush. I am currently growing 2 SLH from seed and one is like the pictures that have been posted here already but the other is nothing like her sister. Both plants were started on the same time and are growing in the same conditions however plant #1 is looking to be done in 7-8 weeks, and plant #2 looks like she is going to take 11-12 weeks to finish. The faster finisher smells SWEET like caramel and fruits while the slow poke doesn't really smell like anything at the moment. I hope they both smoke well either way

SLH = Holy grail

SLH = Holy grail

My experience with SLH was excellent. I grew 3 plants from 3 femseeds and had 3 different plants but 2 basic phenos, the 3rd plant was not a keeper due to the low yield but it too had an awesome aroma and high.
I can't speak highly enough of this smoke.
1. There was a lemon skunk pheno with a wonderful, complex, lemony, dank aroma which had hard buds covered in crystals. Once cured the aroma of course changed but remained amazing. The high was strong, came on fast and lasted long. Good balanced stone. I kept this pheno, re-vegged her, made clones and now have 8 babies outside, can't wait till october....
2. And there was a hazy pheno which had a hazier aroma, fluffier buds, taller plant and longer flowering time (2-3 weeks), for which reason I didn't keep her. The stone was just as strong, balanced and long lasting but definitely more of a day smoke, not something you'd smoke before going to bed.
This plant has only 5 leaflet leaves (some 7 fingered leaves may occur but the clones I've made have ONLY 5 leaflet leaves) and the leaf-to-calyx ratio is excellent.
What else can I say, I love SLH and highly recommend!
take care everyone, cheers

im glad others have experience with super lemon haze :)

Its not the best buds ever but they are good. I dont find it very potent either but maybe just the batch I tried, It wasnt the primo buds.

there is better bud out there but there is no denying that SLH is distinct in smell and high. I dont feel anxious or paranoid when I smoked it and it came as a surprise how much I liked it considering all the shit talk GHS seeds gets.

The main thing I like about slh is its positive character

an cush all those clone onlys come from seed and there are numerous different cuts called the same thing. People find new bomb shit in seeds all the time and quite often from homegrown closet hacking which is where most of clones passed around in cali come from.

Crush,

the SLH seeds GHSc sell IS the 'real' SLH. Of course when you get a clone from a growshop or grower it is usually very good quality and has the characteristics of that strain, because it has gone through a selection process and has been chosen from a batch of say 10-15 plants grown from seed or it is a clone of a clone of a clone which was selected from a batch of seed grown plants.
It depends on the quality of the genetics as to how many seeds it takes to find a keeper. Sometimes I can't find a keeper out of 10 plants from seed and other times I find 2 from 3 seeds. It also depends on the seedbank and the quality of their seed stock.
Have you had bad experience with sativas from dutch seedbanks?
I think there are plenty of strains that can be grown from seed and will be exactly as they should be, it is all just a matter of selection and proper growing. Sure some strains are unstable and sure sometimes plants from seeds die or are just runts or are weak or whatever, it can be because of many factors. Some strains are meant to have 4 phenos. Just buy from reputable seedbanks and growshops. If you read enough on this site you'll get a good idea.

Good report and feedback.

Has anyone noticed any raciness or "too much caffeine" feeling with this strain?

Some of our patients experience these symptoms, along with slight cramping of the legs, with many strains with the Haze name.

We are trying to decide between SLH and Lemon Skunk for the next round. Anyone care to compare and contrast?

Thanks

I've had mixed results with GHS... Lemon skunk blew me away in every aspect but king's kush left much to be desired. Been considering a run of SLH, but i don't feel i have enough growing experience at this point for indoor sativas. Haha.
