Cherry Bomb, that was one of my two choices interestingly, of course some of the stuff on there in part began here so I'm less interested in those, the other I was eying is that real old Guatemalan; the one ACE had briefly was my favorite in all their lineup and I know this one Satva shared came well before theirs or at least what they made publicly avail and broaded up a bit, kinda what ace does with everything it seems......

Cool tx for the reply. Ja it's the drying that's got me a bit concerned. It's summer here and humid, doesn't really drop below 75% this time of year... iv had the pile out 24hours now, also not too sure on how to know that it's dry..? First timer here....
I generally just let sit on glass for a couple weeks as it accumulates but pollen should be dry to begin with. A simple test is put a tiny bit in a small ziplock baggie, move it around in there, it'll go airborne and just cloud up, you can do this without baggie too but it wastes pollen. To me it is intuitive if it's dry or not, just like perfectly dry flour or some that got a tiny bit of moisture, it'll be obvious, you don't want to see ANY clumping at all and again, should dust up and go airborne just like it does off a plant.....

If you had a dehydrator or something like that you could also dry it at low temps but I've never done that or just put it on something that is warm if you think moisture is in it and let it dry out overtime....

Key is making a number of bags as in out fridge or freezer introduces moisture every time if occurs

All those varieties look sweet. But #17 catches my eye. I bet there are gems in that one.
What's the JLB in the Malawi x JLB?
Yes ! 17 is my number 3 :) - I’m not sure but probably the same one that’s been going @ awhile, I’d have to ask Satva but he doesn’t come here anymore & I’m taking a break from gmc for a bit… Maybe @Rgd / kushyman knows or can ask him?

I think I figured it out: Jamaican Lambs Breath. If that's the case, that would be a great one to try as well. There are so many choices. The toughest part of growing is figuring out what to grow.

popping some seeds, oh man I was expecting more of a couple of these but we work with what we have...

Cherry Bomb (Red) - Decades old seed, I was told to pop these soon as getting very old, I've probably sat on them a couple years myself - there are 7 seeds in total, geez

Guatemalan (Yellow) - In it's original form as shared by Charlie at forums long long time ago, decades too - 5 seeds in total - double geez, I'm used to just leaving seed that falls on ground etc, working with huge numbers, hope they all pop ;)

Durlumbo x Uncle Buck / Cambodian (Orange) - seeds from Purple Durlumbo outside this year, Male is the UB/Cambodian I've pictured that was growing in the GH, very sativa structure but dumped pollen fairly early for around here and what he was.... UB is a creation of Bud Green whom has worked on it for 7-8 years or so outside in Arkansas IIRC, somewhere I have exactly what it is but it's a mut....... I am testing this out to see what they do, I am expecting a lot from them so hope they don't let me down, should exhibit very good F1 vigor and both parents were stars, we'll see - 25 seeds, not many but enough to look under the hood

Destroyer x HMBB (Purple) - again rather old seed from Satva, very curious what these will bring - 18 seeds

Best of luck with the low-count old seeds. If anyone can coax life out of them, it's you with your two green thumbs.
I seem to recall you running a Guatemalan before in some other thread. Was it a different one.
Or maybe I'm mistaken.

thank you and different, that one was an ACE original release & I loved it, not sure why they discontinued that one so quickly, that was by far my favorite thing they've ever offered, it's also the last time I ever bought seeds - :) - long time ago now, man does time fly !

PS: some of them X's that came from Guat x Nhz were sick, let me look for pictures...

The KKTS seriously grew like 3feet in 10 days, indoors & in only gallon containers, it’s wild - they started off chunky for sure but everything else has been what I know of SE Asians

Do you have a system for starting very old seeds?
