Damn - somebody was a good little boy; serious high class problems I’ve got going on, way too many envelopes like this of just pure gems from classy gentlemen…. The best beans you’ll ever get…. Are always free and filled with love

Peace

Hola Led05
This one I grew this year is labelled Koh Chang/Thai Stick x Ohz. Is your cross same genetics and origin as this one?

What do you do with your sativas now at this time of the year in your latitude? Do you bring them indoors or you chop and make concentrates with it?
Have a nice day and thanks for the show

I have that exact pack too, but this one comes from someone different but both ultimately lead back to the same two people afaik…

Low 40’s & rainy today; I’m letting it ride…. She doesn’t mind, got another week here at least decent weather after this crummy stretch

Thank you fine sir…

Well over a decade ago I did tons studies on different spectrum lighting on plants timing, morphology, cannabinoid content etc - one of those was @ UV, it’s my opinion pure UVB and only that is the secret sauce…. What’s good for humans too, what mimics the vitamin D synthesis curve, well pretty much the UVI - UV index which coincidentally mimics the UVB range and I found a meter & bulbs for this purpose…. It’s been a while since I’ve used these but often it’s during winter, go figure…. Ceilings are @ 11 feet

View attachment 18763372

2-3’ feet from bulbs - this meter is weighted 99% to UVB, it’s nearly all UVB as it measures UVI - companies website has its exact tolerances for anyone whom cares…

These bulbs are getting old… I used to run these only a couple hours a day or everything was toast but in here this high I’ll do for 4 at midpoint and try and time my time in there for them too….

Somewhere in this site @4-5 years ago, maybe bit longer I posted a lot more details @ this than above….

I can tell you this, I was and am still well out ahead of the light MFG’s though it does seem they are finally catching on some

“Sunlight, in particular UVB between the wavelengths of 290 and 315 nm, is the main source for producing vitamin D in the skin and is the primary source of vitamin D for the body.”

Now would you look at that…. Humans, Reptiles, plants….. LIFE crave our UVB

Psoriasis & Cannabis pushed me down that rabbit hole, just one of many….

Peace
UV light will make your eye lenses look like the back window of a 1970 MGB. Better be wearing the glasses. I had my eye lenses replaced, an old guy thing, because I could barely see through the old yellowed lenses. That said, I like UV for sprouts. I wish I had supplemental UV for veg.

it's huge for starts, nothing better to harden them off at least for that aspect of things.... Yeah, lungs and eyes I don't mess with too much, I actually often wear the same hat inside as I do outside which is a wide brimmed fishing like hat..... the UV where my head is also is never much above 8 UVI; that thing is hung around 10.5' or so above the floor, but your definitely right, not something to take for granted that's for certain.

Thanks for stopping by

Giddy-up!

Using this mesh technique to dry my ghosts after I saw it on your thread- thanks for all the great inspiration and clear photos- very helpful to learn some things here and there.

Rest of those plants are looking great! My season ended a couple days ago, had a great year- love to see your garden is still going strong this far into october. Beautiful pics as always man.

what a plant, wows...carpel tunnel trimming that up...nice growing led05
Thank you - you might be amazed how fast I trim that and no scissors… after bucking it up into 3’ arms (Ill hang to mostly dry in as large a pieces as I can first) - Then I’ll just pull it off like one does thyme, then separate from there in trays… it works fast, I’ll pull seeds and part reason I love NLD is harvesting is a breeze - One of many criterium I use to select on plants is a structure & type flower that allows for this, also nice when the plants drop most their leafs when ready themselves… Equatorial & Tropical NLD traits

Many ways to skin a cat; often I just come up with new things based on what’s around & space - hanging like that is a perfect example of such… and thank you

Favorite time of the year. Its been dry here with an early cool snap and its making for a quick leaf change and fall. You can’t beat being in the woods right now.
Amen to that - this year leafs have hung on for long time, foliage has been spectacular and many leafs that have fallen are still all crunchy & dry on the ground….

Sept had nearly 11” rain, Oct has been nice & dry indeed

SE Asian Volunteer - smells / looks like it could be Laos x Cambodian/Haze potentially too, if haze in it it’s the 90 Ohaze

The one main branch I bent to shit like 5 times keeps giving me finger in these pics; but in general the whole plant is starting to ripen and fade perfectly…. We’re past our average hard freeze points, normally has snowed a few inches by now but not this year yet…. Only dancing @ freeze & light freeze, that’s all part of the ensemble but of course
