Nice line up... I remember a guy back in the cw days at Joey's help desk, that grew some of the NL99's outdoors around the candadian border..... He had some magnesium problems, and after applying some epson salt, and water to them , and about a month later, if memory serves me right.. One of the last things he said was, he had reached the beach...LOL

The NL99 grown outdoors blew his freaking mind... He did have to pull them early, because of mould, was trying to set in, but he loved the out come...

Just a memory from a few years ago...

The white widow, and especially the white rhino will knock your socks off, grown outdoors under the real HID...LOL

Good luck, and Be Safe out there

Hey Jagged, how did that scrubber work out for you? Trying to figure out my smell strategy before I start flowering. That size look about right for my space.

I haven't turned it on as of yet...Probally by the end of the week, I'll turn it on till the end of the flowering... Any of the six senses, can surely get a person be hind bars... :badday:

I've got it ready, with the duct work run to the electric motor to pull the inside air of the grow chamber, and another fan to push the air on the same duct line... They have those duct booster, or inline fans, but I went with a ten inch fan in the room to help draw as much as i can of the air to the scrubber.... Also, I have a few more spots to tweak, and caulk for air leaks... They are in a dark spot, so no light is coming in.....

Sugarbear, great to see you drop by the other day, come by when you get a chance my friend, maybe mari, will be by when things settle down his way...

Here is some pics of plants starting to bud in my small area.... :joint:

I have a fan blowing cool air inbetween the container tops, and where I trimmed the plants up... At the back of the grow room is a small fan blowing the cool air over the tops of the plants, and at the lights, then it's picked up by the exhaust fan, and moved out of the room to the scrubber....

I got a little carried away, but the buds are developing pretty fast, as they go through the screen... Some small buds, will have to be trimmed off for the bigger ones to get as much light as possible...

I'm just playing it by ear... I've got some leaf curl due to me getting carried away with some bloom ferts, but they will pull out of it in no time

I'll try to get a pic of the fan pushing the hot air from the cab out the duct work to the outside, where the carbon scrubber is... It's a very simple set up..

Ok, here it is, the fan is in the 1 gal container, that I taped the fan to... The duct is connected to the container, where I cut a hole just a tad bigger than 4 inches.... I can pull the hot air, and push it with the 10 in. fan... The duct goes to the carbon scrubber, and hooks up to the fan on the carbon scrubber...

This cools down the grow room, and kills the odor around the outside of the grow room...

Just one more thing on this little set up, is the fresh air that is being pulled into the grow area... I have a small hole cut, and some duct work sealed around the hole at the bottom... It is connected the same way with a 1 gal container, and I'm blowing the cool air between the canopy of foliage, and containers... i have the pics up in the thread above this one, where I trimmed the plants up, so I could get t he air in between...

All that foliage, i trimmed wasn't getting any light, so it was mainly in the way, drawing nutrients, and water, so it's the same old deal "knock out 2 birds with one stone"....lol

Kinda simple, if you think about it... But, i'm always open for idea's to be more effecient in the grow, as I sure don't know it all, and never will...

All the Best everyone

Same here too Sugarbear... I have been hopeing you might chime in here or at opengrow... Mari, has surfaced, and posted finally.... Seems his pc has been on the fritz....

Anyway, I hope all is well your way....

My little garden is budding along fairly well, and the carbon srubber I got is unreal... I know now I won't ever grow without one again, as far as security goes, which is priority #1

I'll try to load up a few bud pics, and compare them to last time I put some up...

Take care, and Be Well

Hola Sugarbear,

Ole man Marigyp, is starting to do a grow show of the burmesee x orgegon90 @ OG.... I thought I'd give you a heads up, incase you wanted to drop by for a look, and converse....

I'm getting very close to being done with the little grow I have going... I gave them their last ferts yesterday, so now they'll be on a straight water diet, till I whack-n-stack these plants.......

Here is a few pics of the plants from yesterday....

I'm thinking 2 or 3 more weeks should catch all the top cola's, and about another week for the sub buds, or smaller buds for some ISO-Hash..... I'll cross that bridge when I get there...

All the Best

hey gged those buds are looking outstanding !

sorry I have not been around as much just busy busy...

a good carbon scrubber is worth every penny u pay for it or put into making it. those buds really are very nice and lots o tops - good work on the scrog...

vintner I wish I could throw down a grow, but I just don't have a location to do so at this time nor in the foreseeable near future. luckily I still have plenty of stash :rasta:

Thnx Guys

I'm going by the looks of the plants, and I think the A11's will be come out and hung up for a drying... The Big Bud Super Skunks still have a couple more weeks IMO by the looks of them...

I hope you all are doing well, and being safe

I got a bit carried away with the pics..lol I ran this grow on the hot side with nutes.. You can see the burn on the tips, and some of the leaves easily... I'm gonna run the next grow with less nutes, and see, if the yeild will increase, or decrease... Anyway, these pics are several days old, so the A11's should be about right for taking the cola's, and let the sub buds finish up for some good ole hash.. The Big Bud Super Skunks, are getting very close, so maybe another week or so, and I'll do the same, and take the cola's, and let the sub buds finish up for some more hash along with the trim....It sounds like a plan to me..

All the Best, and Stay Well

Hi fellow growers

I have finally got my grow dried, and in the jars for a long cure.. These jars are around 1 gal glass jars I found in an old building.. I'm thinking they were from some pickles, or some type of bulks produce.. But, anyway, I have these, and some quart jars full from my last grow...

Hopefully, later on I can show some pics of my new grow which is of Jack Herer x NL, and Aroura Indica, which I may cross, and see what kind of poly hybrid pheno's I can find :rasta:

Peace, and Respect to all

All the Best

Hi my friend

I've had to learn the ropes over there on replying as well.. I don't know, if it had anything to do with quoting, but the dutch have a way they want it to read for the next person who is reading.... I've had some replies deleted too, but in the end, they are a nice group of folks, with some very fine genetics...

These jars are one gallon jars, which are hard as hell to come by.... I had to think about where these came from, and it was a bar I use to frequent many many years ago.. Boiled eggs, and hot peppers, and foods of that nature is what was in them... I only had two of them, so I filled them full, and had a quart more....

The smoke is very nice, and seems like it's getting some better as it is curing well...

I'm growing two different strains now, which are Jack Herer x Nl, and Aroura Indica... I hope to share some pics a little later on.... I got my timing off, and was unable to put a screen over these, plus i had no idea of which was male, and female... I've made the mistake of taking a screen off, to remove males before, and messed the grow up, so I've just been tying these plants down with string... I've got a couple of males of the AI, so I may shoot for some beans... Some F2's of the AI, and some F1 polly hybrids of the AI x Jack Herer/NL... There should be some interesting pheno's if all works out

Anyway, great to read you, and i've not been posting a great deal anywhere lately... I've just been to busy with life, as many are in the summer

I hope you don't give up on the Dutchies, as I said, they are some very nice folks, but have there ways about posting sometimes....

Great to read you, and hope to hear from you soon

All the Very Best

Hi ya Sugabear

I'm just kinda keeping your thread going along.. Hope you don't mind, and if so, just say the word...

I'm in hopes this new grow will result in some new beans... I do dig looking for pheno's, that fit the bill for pain management.. :joint:

Some photo's, if you want to call them photo's... I just aim, and shoot, then pick out what looks half way descent to put up...LOL

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION COMMENTS:

Good looking buds, reminds me of trainwreck for it's light green to yellow colloration and many many small crystal encrusted leaves.

The smell of the bud is sweet and skunky with light citrus flavors. There is some underlying roadkill sulfur acrid skunk but light as compared to the rest of the bouque.

My friend's wife liked the smell of this the best out of many samples, saying it was bright and sweet like honey and sunshine.

================================================== ====================
THE SMOKE TEST
================================================== ====================

Address these questions while smoking.

1. Please use a clean instrument for the evaluation. Enter information
below that will identify the instrument as follows:

Water pipe (glass bubbler)

Vaporizer (aromazap)

Joint [zigzag]

I was lucky enough to be able to have enough to sample the weed in a water pipe, joint, and vaporizer.

The vapor was very much the same as the smell described above, sweet skunky and citrus.

The smoke in a joint or water pipe was pretty much the same although I would say I prefered this weed in a joint. Some weed is good in bowls and some weed is good in joints, this is good joint weed.

2. Use numbers 1-9 on descriptors that apply to the taste where a one
indicates a subtle presence and a nine indicates a very pronounced
presence. Delete the existing space when marking a descriptor in
order to maintain the columns in alignment.

Ammonia [ ] Earthy [ ] Licorice [ ] Peach [ ]
Berry [ ] Floral [ ] Mango [ ] Pepper [ ]
Blueberry [ ] Fruit [ ] Meat [ ] Petroleum [ ]
Bubblegum [ ] Grape [ ] Melon [ ] Pine [ ]
Cedar [ ] Grapefruit[ ] Menthol [ ] Pineapple [ ]
Cherry [ ] Grass/Hay [ ] Mint [ ] Rotten [ ]
Chocolate [ ] Hash [ ] Mold [ ] Skunk [4]
Citrus [7] Iron/Rust [ ] Musk [ ] Spice [ ]
Coconut [ ] Leather [ ] Nutmeg [ ] Strawberry[ ]
Coffee [ ] Lemon [ ] Orange [ ] Vanilla [ ] Cheese(dry chedder) [X]

If appropriate return to this question after 5-10 minutes and mark
with X any unmarked descriptors for lingering aftertaste.

3. __[8]__ Taste

Rate your impression of the taste from 1-10 unpleasant-delicious.

4. __[5]__ State of dryness

Rate the dryness of the bud from 1-10 wet-dry where 5 is ideal.

5. __[10]__ Smoke ability

Rate the smoke ability of the sample from 1-10 harsh-smooth.

6. __[3]__ Smoke expansion

Rate how the smoke expands in the lungs from 1-10 stable-explodes.

SMOKE TEST COMMENTS:

Like mentioned above this is great joint weed due to it's smooth and light smoke. Very little in the way of expansion in my tests which makes it easy to smoke.

The flavor in my mind was predominantly citrus with skunky undertones and a lingering dry chedder cheese taste, like smartfood. I might be reaching and my mind might be playing tricks on me with the cheese part, but I swear I can taste it in there.
