All is good, Mites are still around...i'm goin to have to do a major overhaul of the closet. Clean it real good with bleach and shit. repaint it, do some other work as well.
i wanted to take pics yesterday but this stoner left the god damn XD card at home...so no pics.
Next time i'll be there is for the LUIs chop on friday, so stay tuned and i should be bringing a nice update on friday/saturday!!

but shit ....took everything i could throw at em ta get rid of them
i used a pyrethrin spray...that slowed em down enough for the hot shot to kill em. but it was like a month long process
did you check out jlp's mite removal method?......so a search of his threads as it may be an option for ya..idk

let's see it doesn't kill the eggs though. So you'd have to gas the plant, bring it back in and spray it with a neem oil or pyrethrin. I wiped down my plants with a sponge soaked in a neem oil solution before. That was the most devistating to them. That really hit them harder than spraying.
i'll light up some haze and ponder on that.

well the luis are harvested. not sure of the yield off of them but it looks to be not bad considering they were infested with spider mites for the better part of their lives.
it got late last night so i didn't get a chance to wipe down the diesels. OD's got em pretty bad so i'm planning on wiping them down today with the sponge again. i figure if the mites take another hit like that that should slow them down till harvest.
I'm kinda pissed off about these mites to tell ya the truth. i know they hurt my final yield... oh well, experience teaches you the most...
not so bad though, i took a lil sample of LUI which dried down to about a gram or so. Nice smoke, tasted good for being just clipped. Nice high, really clear which i like.
Today there will be another update. That one for the so cals. They're doing great getting pretty crystally! these are gonna be my yielders, and from the look of it the smoke is gonna be dank as hell!!

Dude, Sub, your grow looks like shit. I wouldn't smoke that stuff if I was you, I'd just send it my way and I'll get rid of it for you,ha ha. You know you're the man! Looks great as usual, can't wait to see those Diesel's finish up. Those mites can really start to get on your nerves, I know. my diesels used to yellow mid to late on flowering.
after a run or two, i just fed them a veg formula til they were done stretching during 12/12. much healthier now
one question, wouldn't the LUI have more of a couchlock high being an indica?
i thought it is supposed to be a knockdown high, real stoney like.

Frank - Thanks for the info on the sour diesels. I could not figure out what was wrong with them for the life of me!
As far as the supposed "lui" goes... I can't figure out the origin of the cut because the guy who gave it to me has been MIA for like 4 months now! (you know him).
It had SD structure... 1 fan leaf per node and one flower shoot. There were no ambers on it, i wanted to let her go another week but i just couldn't. Those mites were back in full force and since they produce expodentially i would've had something like 10k in 7 days. They definately hurt the yield. I'm guessing i got -10% out of the whole deal... So i think i have a cut of these but depending on how they are i might not keep them around because.......

these gals are mighty nice and the smallest one is already producing a shit load of trichs. I managed to snag a few clones but since i was very unorganized popping these beans i have no idea which one is from which...
this was actually a sample run of these beans i got in southern cali. i should've taken clones before i switched to flower and marked em all but my clone tray was full and i just couldn't.
(no worrys, i have about 30 more beans! )
to me it looks like i have about 3-4 phenos but i'm still a beginner at this so if you can see clear differences please let me know so i can begin to figure these things out!
here they are at 33 days
it seems i have 3 indica leaning phenos, 2 sativa and 2 50/50
