hey everybody.....soooo them damn mites are still around. i chose to take each plant individually and wipe them down with a sponge soaked in the solution. i managed to cover about 80% because i can't get into the buds to get the underside of those tiny leaves..... so after i wiped them down i gave them a mist as well.
i took infected leaves off after 5 minutes and inspected them under my 60-100x microscope. 99% of them there dead! i only found one live one and it looked like it was damaged. he was twitchin a bit and was just moving in a circle. that leaf went in the garbage anyway...
no sign of mites on the so cal bagsseds but i did find them on my clones that are having trouble rooting. i might have to reveg a LUI and Diesel haze if none of these make it....
got fresh rooted clones- sour diesel, original diesel, NL, chronic and a strain called Keystone. they all got wiped down with the sponge too.
now for the good shit!

oh yeah, did i mention that i got 7/7 FEMALES!!!!!!
again i'm gonna be postin a lot of pics so i'm not gonna take the thumb out.

did you figure out where the mites came from? .....man , i hope they dont hurt your crop. Mites suck so bad, i had them once about 2 yrs ago and they were a bitch

now i have fungus gnats(just a few) and in the past month i had some problems with powdery mildew , which seems to be gone now
it can be a bitch sometimes >>>keeping up our gardens
glad to see the girls all lookin healthy

yeah you ain't kiddin about the mites. i definately raged warfare on them yesterday though. i wiped down each finger of each leaf that i could get my hands on. it took me a good hour+
keeping up a garden such as ours is a labor of love. They have a tendency to really want to grow for us so they tough it out. those so cals have been beaten around a lot. not enough light, then just enough, then too much light, heat issues multiple times, underwatering. It's just been hell keeping up with the spidermites and shit.
i really have a feeling that the survival rate of that clone tray is goin to be bad. i need to clean everyrhing of these mites before i can take cuts off of them and i want them all to survive. I also just took a sideways cabinet and made it into a vertical clone cab/veg cab where i will be placing the 150w.
it really does all start with just one seed...hahaha

update:
i took off a lot of leaves that looked bad and checked them under my 60-100x microscope and all of the mites were dead. Now i don't know, i don't trust that to be true since i can't check every square mm of each plant. so i'm gonna do another spray or two in the next coupla weeks to keep the cycle goin...

Great Job Sub getting the Mites under control they are the Plague of our Kind. Hey all of the strains look great, but does a particular one stand out in the odor/stink department?

the lui's smell sweeter than the others. From what i can tell, the sour d stinks the most. then LUI then OD then SSSDH. but i'm sure as the diesel haze matures it'll give off a nice stink!

kill them mites bro! the sssdh cut thats around here gets rediculous in the smell department at the end of flowering and then its just obnoxious when its dry. its almost repulsive, its soooo pungent!

hell yeah H&L i'm on a mission from God to kill them damn things. the fruit tree spray i used was semi-effective at recommended dose. at 133% though it rocked their world! there's only a few alive now and i suppose they were from eggs that were buried in the buds. But i sprayed again...i figure if i kill 99% of them every time eventually they all gotta go away.
It looks like the LUIs felt their presence.. i think i'll have a slightly lesser yield than i would've otherwise but i'm happy with them. They seem to not even mind all that much. fat nugs on skinny ass branches.
I had to go to the craft store and buy 1/4in dowels and pipe cleaners to keep these bitches up. the lower branchers were, no lie, completely horizontal from the plant and the buds were pretty much facing down. haha
.....and as far as that SSSDH, i hope that's the one i got, cuz i'm lookin for something that'll knock my socks off. Unfortunately they seem a bit hard to clone, and with less than satisfactory conditions in the beginning of rooting, i don't think their gonna make it. Which leaves me with a couple options...reveg or seek a replacement
Bomb nug though, i've seen pics of it and it is out of this world. Hazes are my favorite and with the upcoming harvest of diesels, i'm sure i'll have a whole new aspect. Then you mix the diesel and the haze and it's all magical.
LUI's go into flush today.
planning on updating pics in about 4-5 days time.

So far so good, things are gettin stinky!
the mite problem is handled i think, i caught em early enough to kill them before they killed the plants, that's about it. They did take a hit, i'd guess they'd be about 5% bigger by now. I'm not quite sure that this cut i received it actually "LUI". It's got a sour diesel structure to it. No single cola, not real evidence of it being an indica dominant...but i don't know what to call it and it's been that since i started, so i'll just use LUI in quotes....

Great job Sub you are doing an excellent job and handled the Mites well especially for flowering. Yeah those haze crosses are very hard to clone, I have tried a few methods and it allways takes like 3 weeks to clone the hazes while it takes 5-10 days with others ie (white russian, true blueberry, Grand Slam). Wow SSSDH impressive that should stink for miles lol
