I think i know what Simons is going to say. He already answered it on instagram. Same parents, same genetics from the beginning:). It’s just nostalgic good memories from our past playing with our heads lol. Everything we remember from our youth seems better music, movies etc. that was he’s answer 😪

If that's what he says about the AK, well then that's what he says. But for Kali Mist even the description on their website talks about three "versions":
Kali Mist has been improved twice since its first release; in 1998 and in 2000. The most recent and also best version won 12 of the 14 cups behind the name 'Kali Mist’.

I thought I read Serious seed's genetics today is not the same as their older gear. I would def like to know what year they changed their stock. Their new kali mist is not the same as what the older seeds (2009)produced. I don't their 2019 Kali Mist. I had pictures of thier 2009 in my old albums but were lost. My thread is still there but no pictures.

Question for all... Do they think outcrossing landrace genetics produces better quality?

As many breeding questions that can be asked to all. ..
Have you checked the old galleries for your old pics , maybe @StevenHXF can help out here ?

- Soon I will be off on a trip to Amsterdam - and have decided to make a sorta video travelogue interspersed with some interviews of some of the top people in the industry over there - people of interest - who have had a long association with the cannabis plant - its growing - its breeding and seed making -

- What questions might I ask these growers/breeders? - I could come up with a few - but how about if I turned that question over to you? - What questions would YOU ask them?

- This idea of asking the membership holds much merit in my mind - not only does it give me more questions to ask - it gives the opportunity for any member here to ask a question or two also - so I'd say that is what is called 'inclusive' -

- So lets hear it - what questions would you ask Simon of Serious Seeds - Sam Skunkman - and KCBrains ? -

*- Who else would you like me to interview - and ask them what?
To whomever would chime in on the northern lights "christmas tree" phenotype experiences......If its still available?

The Crazy Baldheadz interview would be a good one.
Certainly - that would be a good one - if I can find a place to do it - and a time that's convenient to all -
* Simon just committed to a firm date in July for an interview - which is nice -

So many good questions to ask from the members - I'm gonna have to write some of these down - get a little note book and pen - and make some notes - so that I am well prepared - when I get to see these people -

@Gypsy Nirvana
What about doing an open threadcast with the forum?

If something like this would be ever done, my first threadcast candidate would be you Gypsy
I have questions for you Mr Interviewer
I want to know where you sourced your Luang Prabang. Is it from year 2000?
I want to know if all zamal lines like Zamaldelica and Mango Karut from FTS are derived from your GN Zamal line and if your line is still available in pure form, how can it be sourced?
Can you confirm your GN Thai Stick is sourced at Nongkhai Highlands year 2007?

Your answers will probably give way for more questions
Have a nice week, you guys will have a lot of fun with this project

Zamal A cut used in creating Zamaldelica (great grandmother of current F3 gen) is Gerrit's cut that he selected from seeds sent to him by Gypsy.
This has been confirmed by @dubi many times. :deadhorse

There's thread about the cut here: https://www.icmag.com/threads/zamal-gerrits-selected-cut.98076/

Your other questions are interesting, though!

The Zamal that Gerrit has ....was gifted to him in seed form by myself many years ago...

I aquired the seeds from a French grower/breeder on La Reuinion island in the Indian Ocean called Christophe...

(I thought that you might want to know the history)...

It is a very fine sativa and Gerrit has really done alot with the variety....some of which I have sampled to my delight!!

Thanks Gerrit!!

*Great pics and description Dubi!!
Thank you very much for answer Gypsy!!!
It is amazing how the forum is a puzzle where most answers are hidden somewhere

So if Madmac is posting in that thread the Mango karut from FTS does it mean it is also derived from that gerrit cut or is it derived from Gypsy seed sourced from Christophe?

Never heard of French Touch Seeds before but seems like they also have another line from Réunion, Kalité, interesting.

Something I should have conveyed in my initial post but I was for whatever reason tangential was thank you for doing this. I appreciate you having the time to sit back in the insight to put something like this together it's pretty unique and I enjoy it so thank you buddy
