I usually have extra cuttings when I trim. I leave them in a little vase of water on my kitchen counter under the little cupboard light changing the water out a couple times a week. They last forever like this and even make roots in the water if you leave them long enough. I would think keeping them in the crisper would wilt them with no light and water
The cuttings keep as good as the day you put them in. I thought it was odd when I first heard about it and put some in just to see and they kept perfect for a month, some people keep them 8 weeks.

I have rooted cuttings in water but I don't think they rooted as well but it has been a long time since I'v used clones. A very long time.
I use to keep clones of a Hawaiian strain that was bought through the early seed company. Plus a couple of local strains. It's been over 25 years since growing any clones.

I use to love that Hawaiian strain, great flavor and big flowers. Grew without problems, the only downside was the flowering period. It was not good for a cash crop but personal smoke, oh yeah.

I've kept unrooted cuttings for weeks in a plastic bag in the crisper. I've read of some who have kept them for up to 8 weeks.
Your flowering crop is looking good Sub:)
I've got some cuts I took over 8 weeks ago in the fridge. I'll give them another month or so and see how they look. It was my first time trying that method but I wanted extra backups of a couple of my clones so figured wtf.

Are they in a zip lock with water?
I wrapped a damp paper towel around the cut stems. Then put the cuts in a paper towel tube. And then into a gallon freezer Ziplock. You guys got me really curious. I'm temped to check them out now. It's my first time trying it so I wouldn't be surprised if they look like shit, lol.

Maybe I'll open them and check them out after I'm done watering and lollipopping my closet.

When you do open them, post a pic, I’d like to see them. Very interesting. You know veggies will continue to grow in the crisper. So I can see it being possible.
I do know you can keep them on the kitchen counter in a glass of water for months If the fridge thing don’t work and you don’t mind a cute reefer decoration in your kitchen. Thanks for posting this

I'll open them and post a pic in a couple hours, after I get a couple things done. I don't have as good of luck with the water in a glass thing. Coco works better for me for some reason.

And I too like a few kitchen decorations, :D

did you put the end of the stems into a wet paper towel or anything similar?
I´ve had good luck keeping kitchen herbs in the fridge but I put them into a jar of water. I store them upright in the fridge door and they keep for much, much longer than outside at room temps :)

I've grow Twenty20mendocino "The Spice" before. Mine turned out to be a nice smoke with a mixed spice flavor. I got notes of nutmeg and cloves and a little pepper. It was a nice balanced high.
That’s good to hear. I’ve not run into anyone that grew it. Did you happen to keep a grow journal? With pics? ✌️
