Nice chocolate kush! My buddy does that to perfection. Under hids. You mind showing a dry and trimmed nug shot? With some size reference? Tbh looks leafy compared.... but could be a different cut or just needs a trim..... yours looks way frostier but hes got those tiny trichs where yours looks like the large type.... prob totally different strain but same name on second look...

Hi Sourpuss! This Chocolate Kush does look a little leafier but it may be due to a different pheno. I did find more photos of it though. These were grown by a large warehouse grower using only Lush LED's. He only sent me a few. I'll post those next...

There aint nothing leafy about anything Ive ever seen even near a Lush LED.... regardless of bigger or smaller bud they definitely display every "Elite" Clone only strain to there max potential appeal, and frost.. I can't wait to see how I do with ECSD under my Lush omg.... I wanna do a full footprint SOG, and get them about 24-36" tall..
Should have my Dominator 2x XL by then too, and I wanna veg up a huge single plant LST SCROG under it.

Thank you, Sourpuss. Yes, LED's have come a long way but still, they do remain pricey. Thanks for checking us out though. We do have a nice, all stage unit for $530.10. If you're ever in Niles, Michigan, stop by the new retail store.

This thread really makes me think that putting 1700 USD to a 900w LED unit from Hydrogrow LED may have been a bad move... I got the new SOL 9 with nine 100w chips with 3w LED's with operating wattage a bit over 900w (due the fans, the chips draw 100w each)

What would be your equivalent?

I know I want to get 2-3 more units for my tent in the future... So curious of what you could offer or recommend? I have a 2x2 meter tent (6,5~ foot).

Hi v1ru5,

Sorry to hear about your recent investment maybe not panning out. Let me compare our lights for you. LED's can't be driven at full power. They would get too hot and burn out. In order to get the exact colors stated on the diode data sheets, they need to be driven at 70% power. So, your 9x100w light is not 900W but actually closer to a power draw of 600w. The COB diodes they are using get much hotter than our 3w diodes so I doubt they even drive them to 70%. That technology is having light degradation and failures. Our 300x3w diode light, the Dominator 2xXL, also has a nominal power output of 900w but we don't try fooling people into thinking it's bigger than it is. We drive them perfectly so we list it at it's actual power draw of 650w. That's our equivalent, it's a 36"x12" panel and the cost is $1699. We have a Black Friday sale going right now so this week only you can pick them up for $1420.00 each. You will get better growth from your plants and a larger footprint. I think four of these would be overkill in the size area you have. I recommend four of our Dominator 2x lights. They have 200x3w diodes, 435w actual power draw and 4'x4' optimal footprint. This will save you on upfront cost as well as operating cost. All of our lights are full spectrum utilizing 10 different colors ranging from UV-A through IR. Based on their specs, they are missing UV, IR and some other critical colors in order to properly fuel photosynthesis. I would recommending trying out some Lush so you can see the difference for yourself then send them Sol 9 lights back if they have any guarantee. Thank you for reaching out :)

Hi there Lush.

Your results are amazing my friend. How will you guys be able to start exporting to Africa any time soon??
We are being killed with new price hikes every few months(hps&mh vs. led), that, plus your results are what have made up my mind about getting lush. indoor is not an option with the old school type lighting. Its cheaper to buy top dollar bud than to grow your own in Africa and that's a big no-no in my book.

Regards.

Hi White Rabbit! We do sell our lights to Africa. You would just have to pay with wire transfer. Which is no problem. Don't forget to use the discount code: ICMAG710. That will help lower the cost.

Thank you for reaching out!
