Unc I can't speak for the rest but for me the wife ain't a buzz kill. I don't have to put up with all the shit most do. The key is finding 1'that will keep her nose outa your business. Yeah they are out there but the search will lead ya into some dark trenches you may never return from. Darlin is a true find.
My buzz kill comes from the damn legal system. Just can't seem to pull my neck from under the boot of the gestapo. Fucking judge said no to me getting off early.

it has nothing to do with the wife, I really am grateful for her putting up with my shit and helping through this year, sure they bitch and nag but that's life, getting old just is something I dident expect to be so painful and fucked up.

I agree with that sentiment, as do a couple of other tight friends up here; suddenly our bodies are going to hell, I think we all agree that it wasn't supposed to be like this.
yeah, starting out with NOT taking that drunken ride in the back of my ElCamino with my pal Joey running through the gears up front, when he hit 3rd gear on Francis Lewis Blvd I rolled out of the back and onto my back, thankfully the guy driving right behind us was anticipating exactly what happened and so he blocked traffic until the ambulance came to pick me up.
I came out of my coma 2 days later. Every person that I knew on earth was waiting/sitting in the hallway of the hospital when they wheeled me out of icu; my gf & her 9 yr old brother, her mom & step-dad, then all of her cousins/aunts/uncles that knew me, of course the huge Italian side of my own family, cousins/aunts & uncles.
that was my 1st and only memory after coming to, and I'm stickin' to it.......
That's such a sad comment, to think that is really sad to me, not all women are "spirit suckers" it takes 2 to make or break a relationship. I get that not every one should have a wife or whatever but to make such a broad statement about women is wrong.
My spirit was just taken down a notch .... Not by the comment but literally tonight, by my wife...... I still can view it as growing, but more of a growing towards saying f you.... Sorry it is what it is
