A blunt is just taking a cigar taking the leaf off remove tobaco fill with weed roll back up. I would hate to smoke a tobaco joint.:bashhead:



My dad will sit there and hold the joint forever and blab and blab and blab. Its like shut the fuck and pass the joint man. aggravating as hell. so glad i don't have to smoke with him.



Some people pass the joint to quick. hah. :joint: I was smoking a jiont with my friends and they were passing it after like two small hits. It was a big ass joint and i even told them to chief it. but nope

With that said I do like sharing, getting high with another and to my knowledge, never got a disease. Saliva is pretty safe, it's the nose and mucous where most germs enter our bodies.

Mostly I share with my wife and I got whatever she's got already! :wink:

I understand all the concerns bout germs and all,but at my age the only people I burn with these daze are also seasoned smokers that know how to put their lips on their finger tips,so I don't mind smoking J's with the boyz.
If your to freaking stupid to know this,your to stupid to appreciate the Quality of the weed,or the quality of the peeps I hang with anyway.

i agree . i also grew up in the 60's and i DONT miss sucking on a joint that a total stranger just sucked on . back then it seemed all communal and groovy, now it just seems like asking for an illness. i guess when you are over 50 you realize that the body is, in fact, NOT indestructible.

i say roll a thin one for everyone and we can all relax a bit . the talkers can talk, the slobberers can slobber ... on their own joint.

This is a great thread and I'm glad its being talked about cause I have a concern that has to do with this. One of my closest friends that I smoked my very first joint with 24 years ago just found out that he has Hepatitus A, I believe its A, its the least serious of the 3 kinds of Hepatitus. Would anyone happen to know if you can catch Hepatitus from sharing a joint?

I understand this, but luckily when i smoke with peeps they are ones i been with a long time and are cool or its usually a pipe or a bong and those are not a big deal to wipe a bit of saliva off, but yea, people need proper guidance sometimes and we all need to be willing to teach it...

"A person can get hepatitis A from infected fecal matter that gets into the mouth — from contaminated food, for example. This infection usually spreads when people do not wash their hands after using the bathroom. HAV can pass from one sex partner to another. Hepatitis A is not a long-term infection. A person can only get the infection once."

Either your friend has been going ass to mouth in his sexual endeavors, ate shitty food, or doesn't wash his hands as mentioned. But, the only way you're getting this is if you get shit in your mouth in some way. But, it doesn't seem like that big of an issue as long as it's diagnosed and treated. I don't think any of the hepatitis viruses (viri if you're anal about latin lol) are communicable through spit. I think the one you want to be worried about is herpes though.

My friend is a recovering drug addict and he either got it from a needle or a straw (what the doc told him anyway) I talked to him yesterday and it turns out he has Hep B instead of Hep A. But the doc thinks that his immune system will defeat it and it probably wont be detectable in his system after awhile. Thanks alot for the info though, I appreciate it.
