Interantus: you give me a good idea for my another growbox. I am wondering... Whats the size of the fans? How did you do holes in such "fat" piece of wood?
I tried the LST and it didn't end so well
The bending of two plants went ~ok, but other two snapped
Overview before the action. upper leaves are thin coz they were too close too lamps, but they will heal themselves now
The smallest plant snapped and i hanged it, so it would grow back together
Two others, not the resoult i hoped:
And the saddest of them all, biggest plant.
And also, the bending of the biggest plant made things worse, because eaven if it's snapped like that, it takes more room- hight is the same(those other branches are the same height) and horizontally it now takes more room. The stem isn't bendable. What should i do? What if i snap it myself, but lower?
And a white hair
and the final result(in the box)...well i don't eaven wanna show, the situation looks like inside of and anus, i'm so sorry plants, this is not, what i intended
Interantus: I mentioned that if you were going to do training you should cull out males first. I also mentioned it would take up horizontal space. Which plant of yours is female? Are you seeing any male flowers on any yet? If you can eliminate some males you can make more room.
Btw, the "snapping" you did to the biggest plant's stem is called super cropping, it's actually a training technique and your plant's are not sad about it. Congrats on the lady by the way!
nice plants i will buy some kind of that tool nad give it a try How did you get the small tunnels outside the box and install them into a 120x120mm? I can see that the ventilation tunnel are smaller than a 120mm fan.
I couldn't wait no more, coz 3 of the plants were already growing against the light bulbs, burning leaves and stuff (not seen in the picture, i cut them off).
Female is the plant on the left (on the first picture). I cant see any males yet, they all look female to me
And i decided not to make the box bigger, it's too complicated for the time being.
i glued a colourpot behind the hole, it is sort of like buffer-room and 2 pipes lead the air into carbon filter, like that
Long time has passed, nothing interesting has happened
The biggest plant was male, actually it showed its sex long time ago already, but i wanted to experiment a bit, and the second smallest is a male too i think. So i have a strong female and a puny mystery
Since the biggest plant was male, i thought i try something to it. I snapped the stem in two places and made it z-shaped. And then i let it grow for a week and it was doing fine, looks ugly but it's low
But i'm not throwing that plant out, hash oil is what you are going to be, buddy
Interantus:
See the plant's weren't sad! And good for you for experimenting.
I hope you're not planning on leaving those males in the cab with the female though, you don't want seeded buds. If I were in your place my plan of action would be to take all the males and little mystery runt out and LST your one female while trimming some of the leaves to expose the budsites. Of course, your grow so do what you feel is right. Lets see some female skunk flowers! And remember, keep that light close to the top of the canopy so you don't get unnecessary stretching.
Male plant is drying already, but it's drying in the box, upside down. I wonder if there's a possibility, that this would ruin the female, tho the male plant isn't ready?
thank you all
my plants are doing terrible, they grew too tall, although i dragged tops down, other tops came and grew against ceiling and lamps. So i put net over it, but since tops are all different height, final results were bad :/
One plant looks relatively fine (NOT), and the other don't have any tops...it has some white hairs but that's about it, i dunno what's wrong with it
So yea, i cannot wait until this thing is over, get my 1 joint or smth, and do a fresh start with white widow, but this time i'm not doing any mistakes!
Interantus: that's some funny shit man. If things are really that bad and you're only gonna get a joint's worth then maybe you should consider not waiting the entire 5 weeks or so you have left and just start that widow? It's up to you, use your best judgement.
Main things for your next grow, bring the lights closer to the tops (1 to four inches) so you don't get soo much stretch and node spacing, switch over to flower much much earlier, and train early. If you're doing white widow next it's good that it's a hybrid so it shouldn't be as tall and lanky as a skunk but you've seen how cannabis can grow now. I'd recommend doing a lot of reading in the micro grow forum, read through the entire threads of some successful grows so you can see how they manage growth in such limited space. You'll find a lot of LST and scrogging I'm sure.
Thanks for all your suggestions and stuff, my hero lol
Nah, i'll let it grow some more, maybe i'll get 2 joints (H) (actually it's not THAT bad, i'll get something ). And the mother is in the upper part of my box, witch i cut off from the beginning oh, and i added 1 extra 2700 23w cfl, so now i have 92w
So thats about it, nothing to update till the end, coz sadly, this was a bit of a failure, next time will be better
