Right, those leaves are left on because they taste as good as the bud does, so why waste time cutting them off? :smile: I make hash out of the other leaves I cut off, but these small ones just hang around and get smoked.
I understand your concern. Most times the leaves reduce the taste significantly, but these are so clean and tasty that a pile of leaves will taste nearly as good as a pile of bud does.
The hash that comes from ECSD is like an industrial adhesive! It's incredibly thick, and burns forever without a re-lighting--right down to a small pile of white ash. And what a taste! Sour Diesel is NOT to be missed.

I'm about to start up some seeds that a kind soul here sent me, and I'm gonna have to bug you a bit about fertilization in Promix, but that comes a bit later, gotta optimize my cabinet first =)

No fruity taste at all. ECSD does indeed posess a complex array of aromas however, ranging from skunk to funk, leaving out the junk.
Sometimes I taste hints of lime, sometimes a hint similar to some exotic italian baked good... Really enjoyable in every aspect. Plumes of smoke pour from the tip of an ecsd joint, and special care needs to be taken to ensure that your joint doesn't re-light itself in the ashtray--it burns very well. Lots of fun.
Hey CC! Whats up Bro!! Nice lookin ECSD buds!! I'm puffin on some as we speak.. I had about 5 grams in a ziplock bag in a box in my car and my entire car reeked like a Motha!! It has a Crazy smell to it thats hard to explain kinda like a sweet citrus, skunky, pinesol smell or somethin. Everytime I smell it, it smells a little different! I did get a couple of Male Bananas on a few top Colas around the 8th week of flowering. I caught my little boy opening up the flower chamber when it was lights off time so I'm thinkin this caused it! The buds were also around 8 inches away from the 600 so they could have gotten a little heat stressed! Have you ever seen a few bananas on your ECSd's. Didnt seem to effect the pottency at all. This Shit is Bombay! I'll post a few Nugz later! Peace.~ograskal

ograskal, no male flowers on my ecsd's, nope. Maybe it was the heat stress from the close light? Dunno. Good shit though eh?

ECSD reverses from time-to-time,at the end of the cycle.
