I have a recommended TDS multifunction meter. It’s mild water with ~140ppm and ~pH8 last I checked. I watered these larger plants in with 955ppm at and had a run off 977. The pH was probably have been the usual 6.2-6.8 chasing I pay less attention. Propagates are the same soil blend and more like 500ppm when I set them in the cups of soil for rooting. The large ones are really missing my attention being redirected toward them.

This Is the 5in1 meter I bought based on forum member recommendation from @Ca++ View attachment 19095911

I am balancing the decision of uppotting and expanding back into veg and flower space, nursing to health and taking cuttings again, or just turning the lights off and letting them go if I don’t really have any other indoor grow friends I’ve been able to stay in contact with.

The collection is haze hybrid, TKxJealousy cuttings was given. Then the VT strawnannaz, bubba 2, bubba 1, and unknown strain that I cut and reveg‘d. I am just not very ambitious to wokr them out with my small space when I have the GKMxDOC seeds that I already know I’ll absolutely love. It’s the floor space issue, the legal limit and the poor experience with the diesel and one of the bubbas outdoor.

Ive been pretty bummed out that this big bubba plant turned out to be undesirable and after all the work I’ve temporarily lost my ambition. View attachment 19095924

Friend I love your determination and growing drive. You will make a good grower in the long run but you have to slow down and take a few breaths. When you say 955ppm to water your plants you are telling me you are using too much ppm.

When I grow weed I only use 250 ppm counting cal mag. 150 ppm is cal mag and 100 ppm is fertilizer giving me a total of 250 ppm max. I give my plants 250 ppm with every watering. The problem with using 955 ppm is when you use that much it accumulates. When It accumulates it blocks the good nutrients from being used.

Start with clean water if possible if not then you will need to modify it. Either case don't use so much fertilizer or you will have problems.

Thanks, I had to clean this up a bit after sipping my cup of coffee.

I fell upon your thread and I’m loving it man. You’re one of the first of all the friendly folks here to help every member every time. And it’s so cool to see you showing your method.

I think I am going to go more gently. Although, I had some amazing results with the high PPM feeding as long as I’m keeping up with it. I made the choice to follow the Coco and hydro methods; with constant water. Produced good clean tasting cannabis worth all the hard work.

A powdery mildew issue was brought to the house from some old hay to encourage lawn growth and really fucked up my indoor badly. There is pets and of course I walked through the old hay and brought it into the room. Within a week I had problems with flower and veg. It was really bad being about 6 weeks into things inside. The outdoor plants faired pretty will because of the air exchange and it was earky flower outdoor. I think this is because sprayed them down with some Jacks Hydrangea Blue as a foliar feed and I figured the aluminum sulfate would be a good anti fungal. Its not traditional but it really did have an incredible benefit using it really early.

My outdoor 40L potted bubba turned out great with the regular hydro feed. 1100-1300 PPM in the Snonington blend I made this year. Kept it constantly watered and it was like a full time job this year. Have cut my hours to 1 a week.. maybe less, It shows in the plants.

Take a look at this bubba kush I’ve left outside since the chop, it’s got the fruit punch. But it did have some powdery mildew and I’ve just gotten scared off of the PM. I want to reveg this entire plant to share next year, looking at the little bit of PM give me a total headache.

The reveg has already started, I’ve been leaving it out with the porch light and super cold, I just don’t want to take any of these things and just reproduce perpetually with The issue. This is where I do wish I had some kind of local master mentorship. I know growing, but I lack the mastery to make educated decisions in maintaining a cultivar or to accept defeat.

I am just in between recognizing the success of the year and trying to balance that with some defeat that is beyond my control. The powdery mildew made me hydrophobic with the stuff I was trying to work on this winter. I got plenty of good puffage to stay upright for a while.

Using a high EC will most often promote mold indoors or outdoors. Plants do much better when the EC is lower. The reason is that when a plant is over-fertilized, the bud swells, closing off the stomata and trapping water in the bud. It is better to have a smaller plant with no mold than a bigger one with mold.

This is where I’ve ended up, passing time was the selector. They were so far gone there’s was no reversing the over drying with the current lack of attention. They looked so bad I wouldn’t even want anybody to see what happened to them. Buy you could probably guess what they looked like. It’s not like it used to be so I won’t spend too long beating myself up over the loss.

I chose keep the ones I’ve seen which are the Bubba 2 which I speculate is barneys farm. three Purple Punch reveggers from a clone I was given, an unknown strain that has a unique funk to it I was given cause they lost track of what it was. then also a GG3 I was given for being a slow rooter. I lost the top bud so I never got to smoke it. It’s not the gods gift I was hoping for based on its stinted growth. Its more like a heavy sweet tangerine smell.

I don’t really need any puffage for a few months so it’s okay for me to screw up bad if that’s all I’m heading into so I’m just going to see how they’re looking at the end of the month and go from there. The only real intention here is that the Bubba comes back nice and healthy. Using the terribly ineffucient Sansi 5700k flood lights.

Was lurking to find posts about reveg and brought be to my own thread to see this.

Actually not a single mold issue outdoor, the phenos that are being productive from the likely white label bulk seedling produced some horrible tasting buds. Theyre strong smelling and sticky and frosty but it’s like smoking neosporin. Still totally unsure what to with it. Thinking the only way to save it would be to onboard someone who can concoct a batch of gummies; find out if this plant can offer an acceptable flavor, quality and feeling.

at this point it just feels like it was just an ornamental effort. I’d blame it on timing but I’m really leaning on a breeding pheno issue to look like this but taste and smell like antiseptic.

Bubba Kush isn’t really appreciating my late decision on the effort to bring in and reveg. I don’t see anything good happening yet
