LARGE. DRIP. TRAY.

That’s pretty cheap, want these for my indoor adventures. It’s really seed sowing season now. I love indoor growing, no need to hurry and no reason to wait. :ying:

Could be a wicked cheap way to collect run off in an outdoor top water set up. Or in someone’s green house. Only a minor engineering project to achieve success.

The conductivity could be a good thing for anybody that needs to run heat mats on anything.

Soon as a man can save money on green, that’s when a man becomes a gardener. And on that day that no man pays for green, every man will be the gardener.

The cheapest veg fixture in any market is performing well.
It’s clear that there is some usable light coming from this thing.
I fired it up today on some younger plantings because I have a long weekend away from work. The response is good so far.

I determined that 12 inch height is a good hanging height for a complete light spread so that’s the distance I have seedlings at. Then the bubba I’m training is closing up a little bit but seems to be responding positively. Then I let a branch hang out from a clone in the back which just shows that it doesn’t have to be right up on something to perform.

Sansi 50w 5700k LED Flood Light . cheap skate like me, it’s working.

Utilization of the VS XS2500Pro is going better.

With the light underutilized at 50% I was getting negative effects. Now the driver 1 notch below 100% and getting some noticeable progress.

The light as engineered would come to 37 inches wide, intended for a 2ftx4ft space. I was able to shorten the width with the factory components. Required some care with power connections during installation.

I’m now willing to report that the light is a good fit for the night rig.

I was misunderstanding the symptoms of losing chlorophyll for bleaching.
With more light and getting some heat going inside, the light works really well on plants. This one is a Gelati Kush Mints x Double OG Chem, it’s the seedling I am able to trial this rig with.

There are still issues I want to work out to meet plants demands, better late than never.

I have two more of the Sansi 50w LED on the way from the Sansi LED eBay store. When these arrive, I can shake up the little space I have to finally make room for the free-bee dark room tent from US seller derder on eBay.

I’m going to be getting back to my roots with this one. This is a replacement for the one light per plant veg array I used to use. With higher lighting efficiency for half the cost and no need for the trip to the depot home store. It’s a no brainer.

It’s obviously pretty bright and the seedlings are reaching just a little bit at around 15in/40cm, they’ve only been there while I was moving things around and uplifting some stuff.

The money, can’t go wrong. I’d even stretch far enough to say that if you’re reading this, you need to go to eBay and look up this light to see what I’m talking about. And buy a pair if they’re still available. They are still available as of 21/May ‘24.

This Bubba Kush seems I may have had the light a little too close.

It’s kinda a half-shit 100lm/w that isn’t made for growing cannabis.
Thats kinda the reason I bought them, I still havn’t shaken the
low income bootlegger spirit. You could probably order these anywhere and have absolutely no heat on you. .

One more time, this ain’t advertising. It’s just that I spent a lot of time trying to be cheap and it’s doesn’t get any cheaper than this right now in 21/May ‘24

As an update on the fresh start.

Finally beginning to understand the XS2500 pro and I’m staring to get some green back into the flowering plants. 18in/45cm at 80% seems to be the minimum amount of light that a plant can tolerate from this XS2500 Pro. Because of the way the fixture is designed, in two pieces, it’s easy to manage two completely different plants. Simply need a couple extra draw straps to make fit different hanging heights

Going to post the pic in the LED and Bud Quality thread as someone else there is using the same light. Would be great if I can pay this set up off with the first yield, just to compare to legal dispensary prices in the New England area, that’s all I’m really trying to do here. Quality cannabis at or below the cost to buy cannabis for myself.

I want to be just remind myself here of something, and share this note to self.

I had great ambitions when I found the safety to grow again. I bought a large tent and thought that was going to be perfect. Well a 5x5 is perfect, but perfect can be had with smaller sizes too. Nothing is perfect… I disagree with that and perfection is obtainable by properly sizing a grow space according to an available auxiliary space.

After making mistakes, accepting mistakes and moving on with a smaller grow. I haven’t made any compromise choosing a smaller flower space. I didn’t approach a 5x5 based on quantity. I did it because it’s an easy space to work with in my experience having everything set up right. Larger spaces require a largeer amount of preparation, a very considerable investment into the cannabis craft requiring some specialized horticultural equipment to ease the effort. The truth is £€$$ is MORE

So I am having greater success, further into flower with no real problems and it’s really enjoyable growing my own right now. It was much easier to provide myself with complete set up in a smaller space. Much more affordable to plan out a proper grow.

My fault was my experience with larger spaces, so I would never have advised to grow in 5 square feet when I know how nice 25 square feet is. My best advice is that it doesn’t matter what size it is. Set up right, have a good time growing.

Save some money not having to buy puffage, really don’t need so much that I have to find people to give it away to. Now that I’m legal. I can just chill out with a couple small flowering plants and start trying to find a good herb or two for my personal requirements.

I needed get something to work for me and the growing is going well.

Next will be two smaller and more appropriately sized plants. Stick with that until I find the right ventilation. Rig needs a good bleach soaking and little break beforeit’s gets back in action.

Take the time off from flowers to assemble v2 day rig and get a few bean sprouts, continuing personal enrichment.

Just a few weeks ago, I was thinking I don’t have any space to put these lights I’ve been collecting. Well I’ve got 11hours of full spectrum and 12h 5000k going at the moment. with everything running its about 400w of led lighting.

Measuring stick back in there. Be easier if I don’t stuff plants that dwarf it. how am I supposed to know how talk they are?
