@nickman - Thanks, this girl is just beasting it, she is happy and loving life.
@OvergrowDaWorld - I have really liked the vigor on this strain, they will take off after being transplanted for sure. Im flowering this girl out in a 3 gal, I was thinking I should have gone larger but it looks like this size will be fine.
What kind of smells are you getting off of yours so far?
My lady has a really skinny stem and branches for her size, that being said they do seem much stronger than I anticipated. This weekend I did get her staked and tied up, it will be necessary with no doubt.
@Bmac1 - Thanks buddy, Im in love with her structure as well she is one bushy beast, has an almost candelabra look too her.
@Kozmo - Thanks for stopping by, pull up a seat. Bmac1 is correct it was a pheno selected from seed from Karma Genetics. I believe it was a very sour smelling/tasting pheno but I could be wrong on that. I do know that my lady has an incredibly pungent sour, skunky, with a tropical guava chem funk going on. She is insanely good smelling and really reminds me a lot of the Guava SD cut.
@pabulum - Thanks for stopping in you are just in time for the good part of the show. These are some top notch genetics, if you like tasty potent plants look no further than Karma Genetics.
Double Update 8/22 - 8/30 - Flower Day 17 - 25
Things have been pretty hectic that past 2 weeks and I was unable to get an update posted last week. So to make up for it lots of pictures from the past 2 weeks to get everyone up to speed.
Flowering has really set in and her bud sites are really starting to explode with frost and in size. I have a feeling she is going to produce some very large flowers they way she has started. Her frost started building up a little over a week ago and she is starting to really pack it on. Her stretch really seems to have slowed down and I dont expect much more from her. She just a little over doubled in size from flip until now.
Structure on this girl is really impressive, no topping or special training needed with her. I did remove some fan leaves during veg to promote her branching and she just took off. She really does look almost like a candelabra, she really formed a fairly nice even canopy. Another thing I love is how open her structure is, she isn't just a big bushy mess and has required little defoliating.
There is a lot to be excited about with this plant, she really stands out among others. My favorite part about her has been her smell, its downright intoxicating. Its loud and pungent, she is easy to smell in a garden filled with other plants much farther along in flower. Shit this girl was out stinking some plants that were in flower while she was a little thing vegging away. I know I have mentioned it before but this girl really reminds me so much of the StarDawg Guava cut they way she smells. That cut is one of my favorite smokes so it has me filled with excitement to say the least. The dominate smell you get from her is a pungent skunky, sour, chem funk, with a tropical essence of guava and mangos. This is nearly the same smell the other plant has also, he just doesn't stink anywhere near as strong.
Road Dawg - 8/22 - Flower Day 17
Really easy to see in these pictures how she is starting to flop outwards. Easy to see her really skinny branches and stems, no doubt support is going to be needed with her as soon as she starts packing on the weight.
Road Dawg - 8/30 - Flower Day 25
Have the stakes in place but these pictures are before she was tied up and supported to them. She looks to be filling in pretty nicely from top to bottom, doesn't appear right now there will be much larf on this sexy girl.
Her tops are really large for 25 days into flower, I can only think this girl is going to be no slouch in the yield department. Her build up of frost at her young age leads me to believe she is going to be a super frosty girl. One thing is for sure, her aroma is loud and she is putting the carbon filter to work. I would be shocked if she lost her odor by the time she finishes, I can only speculate it will get more pronounced and complex as time goes on.
These pictures are after she has been staked and tied up. She is standing much more straight up and is much more compact now. I was probably able to cut down the space she was occupying by about 30%. More importantly its there to give her the proper support to grow some big, fat, sticky, stanky, nuggets of dank.
@nickman - Thanks nick, really impressed with this girl also its going to be a good show.
I have her in a 5x5 tent, it was overly packed until this past weekend when 3 monster Karma's OG got the chop. She has some good company with a Headbanger, I-95, Purpetrator, Elmer's Glue and MoonTang. I feel like there is another lady in there Im forgetting about right now.
Looking good Kalyx. I ended up topping mine 2x so it bushes out.
Plus I only have 6x females to put under 1x 600w lamp so I need them to be big to fill the space.
@nickman - Thanks brotha I have definitely been blessed. "El Dorado" is what I have named my new grow that has been under construction in recent months. The flowering room has been dug out and built in a crawl space, crapload of work for just my hands. Things should be up and running soon, when everything is operational it will add 2 1000w and 2 600w of flowering lights to my grow. It will greatly increase my space, giving me a larger lab to play in, test and work on projects.
@OvergrowDaWorld - Very nice, I debated back and forth for awhile and whether or not I should had topped. Are your girls stinking up the house yet? What kind of smells are you getting off yours?
Yes. The girls are stinking up the house...in veg.
I dont have a filter for the veg area. Never needed one until now.
Ill let you know what smells I get once they are in flower starting Oct 1st.
@OvergrowDaWorld - Nice sounds good man, these are some really stinky plants even little cuttings have a pronounced stink to them. I will be looking forward to seeing how things progress with your ladies.
@Gardening Angel - Thanks GA, she is really coming along well and starting to take shape now. Smells on this girl are off the hook, the type of smells only a pot head could love.
Update 9/14 - Flower Day 40
Has been a really busy past couple of weeks for me and was just too busy last weekend to get any pictures for updates. The smells and looks of this girl get more impressive each day. Her stretch has really come to an end and her flowers are really starting to take shape and swell up. The past few weeks have been spent really getting her tied up and staked. Her thin dainty branches are putting out good sized flowers making her flop all over the place.
She is stacking up fairly nicely, but does have a lot of spacing between her nodes. She doesn't look like she is going to be spitting out massive donkey dick colas with her growth structure. She does look like she will be putting out some really dense chunky nuggets none the less. Things are too early to tell now and I really wont know until she is finished and on the scale but she looks to have some decent yield potential.
She is really packing on the frost and has some big fat trichromes that look like she was rolled in sugar. She has been a super stinker since she was a little baby and that has only gotten more pungent and louder as time moves on. Her nice sour, tropical skunky funk has been replaced by a straight funk of new tennis balls, burnt rubber, sour skunky chem explosion. She is loud, foul and pungent, I have a very hard time trying to pull my face out of her.
Im really in love with this girl and looking forward to sampling her more than any of my other ladies at this time. Just love the structure with her, she has great branching, displays excellent vigor and her stank is just flat out intoxicating. She has been a happy, healthy and easy girl to grow up to this point. She is very easy and fast cloner which is always a plus in my book. She displays great vigor, doesn't seem to be picky or stressed by much of anything. As bad and upsetting as this grow started with my heat stress abuse, the survivors appear to all be very strong and easy to grow plants. I do have a bunch of clones from her at various stages of veg, I will get some pictures posted up of those soon. Will be getting some of those thrown into flower within the next couple weeks. I will have some pictures posted up of the other girls here pretty soon.
