I love the snow HATE THE HEAT!! I am to damn fat to be in the desert or the swamp. No thanks.

I won't be moving till the wife finishes her degree, Maine is good for me because they don't charge out of state tuition. I will probably just stick with a few monster outdoor plants. I have been working and growing to support a family of 5 in overpriced California, so with the wife working we should be just fine with out the extra money from weed. As long as the next couple years go as planned, I should have the cash stash up to 50 k. I love growing, but when you depend on it things get stressful. It kinda loses the fun.

hey packer give yourself more credit ... you got a famly of five a and a 50 k stack??? i'd say you are doing great... i've lost a lot of cash & equity & i'm just trying to get by ... i am getting by but it's not like it used to be... I've lately noticed how the stress level goes down as harvest season proceeds ... what a relief it is when you yank a plant .. hard to explain ,but all the fuss over the past 5 months is going to be over soon enough i can move on to the next phase

I am in California so being with a ton of growers is nothing new to me. I will be growing for fun not for profit. Probably just play with seeds. I may make some s1's of the couple strains I just can't live without. Mainly mendobreath, and the ghost og. Not trying to move mom's all the way across the country. Not to mention stacks of cash. I am thinking of converting my cash stash into silver and gold, just in case . With these stupid civil asset forfeiture laws , I don't want to get caught up with 50 k in cash in the middle of the country. Plus silver and gold are low right now, and when the economy inevitably tanks they will skyrocket again, and they will always have value.

I am looking for greener pastures also Dan's. I am so sick of desert brown. Mabey I should look into Vermont also.

as long as you are considering converting to non cash, consider a portion going into bitcoin. I bought a part of one right at the peak when it was around $1000 per, I think this was in 2013. As per my investing norm, it drifted down to around $250 and hung out there for a couple of years. Enter some international volatility (AKA POTUS) and the price recently hit $5200 per. I don't see the world stabilizing anytime soon so i think people around the world who worry will keep buying. Same as with gold. Just another option but maybe with more upside than metals.

no i just took them out for a pic session, they will go flower for a few more days at least i want to see what happens if they get fatter

she grew well enough but did not have much vigor, also for some reason the egg-laying moths and butterflies were very attracted to the SD ..lot of budworms did a lot of damage to the plant ... what's cool is that she got hit with a rouge male (unintentionally) i got a handfull of Sour Diesel x mystery Star Kush seeds that actually look quite good striped and plump & i'm going to grow them

Im sure youre super busy right now with harvest.. but when things slow down would you want to share your process for extracts?

My first indoor of the season just started week 4 of flower, 60 plants under 5200w, usually I throw the trim away. Well I burn it in my fire pit. Its an obvious waste.

I really want to make something with it. Dont mind spending cash on equipment, with in reason.

Any advice?

^^^^ I will it's very easy & can be done inexpensively depending on what you're after in a final product
