Hey guys, good morning☀️ Just checking in looks to be beautiful out. have a full plate between the two properties also back from visiting my folks. They are both in their mid-90s. I’m gonna be spending minimum of three days a week down there so that’s what this year is going to be like (and felt good to be helpful)and they definitely need my help. They are so frail ! 😢I should be there full-time not sure how this is all going to unfold, but they definitely don’t have much time left…
PS been hitting the Roz made from the 2024 OD and it’s pretty titanic!
It would be nice if you could allow your folks to have what time is left to them, to be together at home if that is their choice and capable of doing that. Too many elderly people are forgotten about and we will all be in that boat someday.
I never cared for my stepfather but he did say something to me one day that stuck in my mind,
"you can tell the right thing to do because most often it is the hardest thing to do."

Hope cookie is behaving herself and letting you get your projects completed.

Hello FP & Cookie :)

Should have taken them up on the free light. I didnt trust that but bought one anonymously. Its been used less than a year total and the wiring is suspect. The potentiometer dial that adjusts the power causes flickering and I worry about the wiring too. Plenty of used lights to be had cheaper on marketplace from what I have been told.

I came across a video on youtube last week mentioning issues they are having... I didn't save the link or anything... I didn't watch it all.

I just googled it.... if you use their app on your phone, your data may have been breeched...

A massive IoT data breach has exposed 2.7 billion records, compromising sensitive information such as Wi-Fi network names, passwords, IP addresses and device IDs.

Jeremiah Fowler, a cybersecurity researcher, reported the unprotected database linked to Mars Hydro, a China-based IoT grow light company, and LG-LED Solutions, a California-registered firm. Fowler disclosed the findings to vpnMentor, which shared them exclusively with Infosecurity.

The database, comprising 1.17 terabytes of unprotected data, contained 13 folders with over 100 million records each. Additionally, error logs revealed device operating system details, API tokens and app versions.

This data likely belonged to users of Mars Hydro’s Mars Pro app, available on iOS and Android. While Mars Hydro quickly restricted access after disclosure, questions remain about the duration of the exposure and whether unauthorized entities accessed the data.
