Morning all

Big 26 degrees out there this morning...

Buffy the cat was waiting patiently at the door for her breakfast.

I wonder if something happened to Stars dad, he went radio silent.

Flat of Cherry tomato heirlooms variety list and slot number. 50 varieties, different amount of seed in each depending how much I had. These seeds are from 2016-2019 so need to be increased. Amount of seed planted is next to each variety. Two weeks after they come up they will all be transplanted to solo cups.

Last year at the nursery when I was trying to replace my usual cannabis growing medium and was talking with the salesperson, we had a chuckle about the old days and the code word for cannabis was "tomatoes."

Good day to all, I'm seeing sunshine, it's still very cool out but change is in the air.

My old aching body needs temps around the 18C/65F mark or my muscles want to bunch up and pull on my spine causing issues. Yeah, getting old is not always a joy.

Right now, just looking at the sunshine brightens my day.

That's kind of neat especially if your growing for a specific reason or curiosity.
I use what I grow regardless of content but I like details so it would probably prove beneficial to me to test my own stash for content out of curiosity.
If your working on a breeding project a home test could prove valuable.

I remember Reeferman talking about being able to do certain chemistry tests out in the field to help determine breeding projects.

Cannabis is one of those agricultural products that has significant experimentation, probably more so than many commercial plants. I think back to the 60s and things have come a long ways.

Hi FTL:)
Morning OM
Hope your doing well seen ya posting all over the show lately good to see mate :)

Haha Code word “tomatoes” .....yeah it was a classic everyone knew even the cops but it had to be done to avoid troubles.

We used to sell bongs as flower vases with a Plastic flower in it and the cone piece (a Tabasco pipe) on the side next to it

I’m really happy things have changed in a lot of countries but the full commercial aspect has twisted the culture up a bit imo

In my first years of using cannabis, many people all but gave it away. They were more interested in sharing their happy experience with cannabis. Than trying to sell them something. It was about the joy in sharing a happy experience.
Commercialization changes whatever it touches on and not always for the best.

Nice to say Hi and hope life is good for you.

I hope we can return to this way of interacting together regarding cannabis.

I can see commercialization driving the price towards zero ....maybe then everyone can Once again start doing it For The Love

Life is good ☀️

Enjoy your day OM :)

Went to the local Irish bar for corned beef and cabbage. The Guinness beef soup was amazing and the corned beef and cabbage was pretty good. Lots of horseradish and mustard. Many Guinness and a few black and tans. Guinness and Harp. My nearly 90 year old in laws treated us and it was a good time had by all.

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

I make 2 meals worth of chicken enchiladas every month, freeze one for an easy night. I always make some salsa rice to go with the chicken enchiladas.
I have to admit that I cheat with my enchiladas and I use flour tortillas rather than corn. Corn tortillas in Toronto are sad. They are hard to find in the supermarkets with flour and fucking whole grain and ancient grains and other crap taking up all of the shelf space. They only occasionally have 8” corn and they always break when you roll them. So I use large flour tortillas. I make my own enchilada sauce and salsa and I throw on canned chilis and chopped jalapenos . . . although when I want some real spice, the red Thai peppers and the Jamaican Scotch Bonnet peppers come into play. ;)

Yeah I use regular flour tortillas, I do make my own sauce for the enchiladas, I make a roux and add some chicken stock and sour cream to it after it's cooled some. I have added jalapenos at times.
I'm not a big fan of pepper hot or very spicy food nor is my Mrs who has intestinal issues.
Don't mind mild-medium hot Hungarian Wax Pepper.

When you say hot peppers you mean...HOT PEPPERS!!!
