Japan’s a nice place for a holiday.

Living here is pretty cheap compared to Aus/Nz at current exchange rates.

The foods really good. Love they way they eat really seasonally here. Fruits can be a bit expensive sometimes.

Working here sux, worst work culture imaginable. I avoid it like the plague.

The people are mostly polite but not really friendly and mostly a bit boring( the amount of times I run through the same set sequence of questions and the same conversations is like ground hog day)
Been to a couple of really cool parties and gigs, super good vibes(NZ/Aus can get a bit aggressive at parties gigs etc).

The outdoors nature, camping/hiking is really good. Amazing mountains and Bush some really cool beaches little dirty(Korean:Chinese/Japanese floaty sea rubbiesh) but nice. Freedom camping is till wide open you can camp up in your car anywhere or a little more discreetly in tents with no trouble.

Travelling around is really easy and there heaps of good travelling and places to see. Okinawa was amazing! Trains are sooo good here. Driving is easy but fuck they’re bad drivers here so have to be careful(I’ve been run over on push bike twice by cars).

Nice place to visit and travel but not so good to live for the longer term imo.

I have felt that way. Many many times about growing …problem is still it’s the only option other than working. job for shit pay. There are no real opportunities for me here other than being a grower in a dwindling market… I wish I could be like uncle fish stick and get a job in the industry but there is nothing like that around here is butt fuck …completely butt fuck around here
For sure that sucks, especially in your age. What if you get the indoors running again, just big enough for a regular income to be able to pay the bills! Sometimes afraid that will happen to me in the future but I keep telling myself that I will easily be able to grow some plants for a living. Good luck with everything!

Growing marijuana has tied me down like a farmer for so many years…. that’s one of the drawbacks of doing it as a livelihood your freedom is limited, but at least it was by my own choice not someone else’s choice anyways, I would love travel and avoid the feeling of redundancy in my life
Again, I feel you! Need a trustworthy person that likes doing things well and is open to learn. Easier said than found haha of course well paid, but still hahaha

Having a bunch of prime herb on hand is great for bartering. I get more value that way than selling outright. I am going to need help on the farm this season and I plan to pay in greenery. Same with the roof guy, he is all about the trade and so am I! Even had the guy I rent heavy equipment from ask about a trade. I need more herb lol

Cannabis is everywhere but high grade cannabis is nowhere in these parts.

If you have it, you can make things happen, if you don't have it doesn't matter the prices..
