Any measuring device out there does not show the exact number of 28.35gm for an ounce…you always see 30gm= 1 ounce…I have always done the same as you Star 480gm to the lb. So if someone got a lb. They would get 26.4 gm of extra weight…almost an extra oz. It did keep ’em comin back…kinda like getting a bakers dozen!!!I always rounded my pounds up to 480 g keep coming back for more
If I haven’t said it already man, you take some really awesome pictures…every picture post you make I say to myself wish I could snap something close to that…correct me if I’m wrong but that is yer phone’s camera right?

I used to duct tape a pool noodle straight up on his back in summer and let him graze my field then I got an apple airtag for him. I don’t let him put unsupervised anymore lol he is faster than you would think. Going to increase his enclosure size next year.
I had some close calls I even lost mine before letting her out to Sun from the pond enclosure … couple times specially on ketamine and did a panic search, fortunately found heranymore lol he is faster than you would think
Wow … how do you handle him in the off-season?About 80lbs and still growing not mature yet.
I see him growing another 80 pounds in his futureI am fixing him up a new vivarium now. Got 6 (4 foot uv 12% reptile bulbs) for this t5 fixture and a 630 watt cmh will have a couple plants around his enclosure. Then finally ceramic heater bulbs by the uv fluorescent bulbs at one end leaving the other end cooler so he can thermoregulate. He’s heavier than cookie. I can’t hold her around.! Forget about itOh and I pick him up lol. He will follow me though slowly. He barely fits in the bathtub. He gets soaks in the bathtub in winter. Anyway he is heavy lol.
I’ve had him 8 years. When I got him he was smaller than the palm of my hand.
