got surprised by the cuts I took of the hazy headband and/haze because they threw roots quick. So now we have two boxes checked …flowers, early and roots early….

Todays project. Get this room torn down, swept, cleaned and the next round of plants up-potted.
I’ll be switching from the buckets to drain trays and going from 14 plants to 12.

1 of 5 that size, 6 rows of 6hps in 50’x50’, this is the furthest along but they are all full now. Everything is on wheels, just hoping we can keep it rolling. Trying to get 8 done so it can be close to a room a week to keep things fresh.

That is a nice looking flowered out plant and I'll imagine it was every bit as good as it looks.

For me sunflowers are a joy to grow because of their sunny look. I grow seed for the birds so I get enjoyment from them twice. I have grown them from 2' - 14'. Big is showy but not exactly my first choice.
I now add some Boron 1tsp to 12oz of water to increase seed size.

Sunflowers can also absorb toxins, heavy metals and radiation from the soil.

I worked at The Christina Lake Golf Club for several years, I enjoyed my work, mostly. There can be some testy golfers if things are going right for them.

That's a nice looking course and Yep out there at the crack of dawn.

I looked to see if the seed company I purchase from sells that variety and they sell a similar one called Teddy Bear. It says you can sprinkle the petals over your summer salad.
They are interesting in looks.

Yes, until your body hurts enough that it becomes a wake up call. The problem with that is, the pain the
limitations might never go away, like myself.
Working the same parts of you body over and over will likely cause something to wear out.

When I was told hard work never hurt anyone along with grow old and enjoy your golden years.
The slogans must have come from the mouths of billionaires in need of worker bees.

I am a firm believer in putting in a good days work.
