Those are nice OlMan, 60% of mine this year are looking away. Glad to have some in pots except for watering.I really like the cheery nature of sunflowers, the birds will be feasting on the seeds.
They got planted late and are just now in their prime flowering

I have to be careful with container planting. According to our Regional District Rules I can only water 2 days a week Wed. and Sun. from 6-10am and 6-10pm.Those are nice OlMan, 60% of mine this year are looking away. Glad to have some in pots except for watering.
I grow from previous years, saving the seeds and labeling them thru sprouting in spring, lots of work but I enjoy sunflowers, all the varieties. I like those small container sunflowers that grow 2' and have a 10-12" head. There are many varieties of sunflowers.
I planted one seed in each corner of my garden. One got 4'. One got about 3'... One the Goats ate, and one never grew.I really like the cheery nature of sunflowers, the birds will be feasting on the seeds.

That's a nice size head for the height of the plant. It looks like the seeds would have a nice size to them.I planted one seed in each corner of my garden. One got 4'. One got about 3'... One the Goats ate, and one never grew. View attachment 19049483 View attachment 19049484
