nothing like adding some native wildflowers to brighten up a space...my front yard is always a-buzz with bees, butterflies, and birds...i would love to add a fresh water source but don't want to basically build a local loose cat feeding station...i suppose the desert willow is big enough to support some kind of bird bath type dealy...

Black walnut i$ valuable wood
About 10 years ago in late winter we had an Amish crew come in and thin out our black walnut trees…our 5 acres were overgrown with them…there were a few maple and oak trees they took out also…some of the wood was graded as select and when put on the log truck were marked for places overseas and a bit of the maple was selected for guitar bodies

I’m going in for a follow up scan let me 11:30 Friday that means you have to restrict your carbs and sugars the day before no strenuous exercise. I’m already behind the eight ball with these fucking lawns and weed growing …John Deere is so swamped I can’t even get a response out of them….

I always loved working with walnut among other high end woods. Walnut was always my favorite though for looks it is just so rich looking IMO.
When we put in our modular home in 1994 there was a huge black walnut tree that had to be removed because in was right where the basement was gonna be placed…buddy came in with his backhoe and removed the tree almost completely intact…we then took it to his sawmill and sliced her up into 12 ft. lengths and where over 13” wide…they were then cured and stored in my basement for years…about 7 years ago the same buddy who got the tree out built a new 40x60 garage and wanted to put a bar in there along with his pool table…so I gave him enough of the black walnut to build his bar…it came out absolutely awesome….and I still have enough of that wood leftover to probably have another bar built
