I’m stuck waiting on my concrete guy.
I need him to pour a slab around my new barn so that I can set my AC condensers so the electricians can finish up.
Hopefully he gets to it by the end of the month. Everything has come to a halt.

Morning all.

How big is the slab? Maybe something you could do yourself to keep you moving forward? Some 2×4 for the form with a stake into the ground about every 2 ft to keep everything straight. A piece of wire mesh about 1 foot smaller than the slab pulled into the middle of the wet concrete. Good luck
Almost forgot, make sure the ground is compacted and throw a couple inches of crushed stone down first for drainage under the slab. Its not that important as it's only gonna have your equipment on it but it's the right way to do things.

Wish I felt confident enough to do that. I have thought about it as I’m only doing a 4’ wide pad down two sides of the barn for now. One 52’ and one 40’ strip.
Some things I’d rather leave to the professionals or at least someone with experience.
