I've got some old Yamahas with deep toms that I want to cut down and ditch the resonant heads. never gonna happen at my motivation level, lol.... more likely to switch to roto toms, I want to try a flat low set up like this one.

Electronic kits have that kind of shit built right into the drum module…I know a lot to think about…I had a set of roto toms back in the 80’s…I could never figure out where to set them up and have access to them easily…also in between songs I would always screw with them…changing the pitch numerous times…but they did sound cool and were always around my kit until the van they were traveling had an engine fire totaling the van and all inside…
