So it looks like my friend is actually getting it together to open up retail outlet locally within a few months he’s gonna be dropping like $50,000 just to get the store up and running but we both think it’s going to be a good money maker for a while I’m kind of excited because it’s inspiring me to work

It is extremely dry where I'm at and seemingly behind on the grow stores and supply. Anything good around here is 250-300 a zip black market and good luck finding it. Lots of Cali b grade but the crew I know won't touch that weak sauce.

Pity you can't send it over here (Australia). Our legal medical goes for between $135-$180 for 10 grams! Illegal market is pretty much the same (so I'm told). It's crazy. Your $5 a gram is about what I think it should be worth tbh.
If I could only see into the future… pretty confident I will continue to be able to support myself for the time being

Dude keep on trucking I think your doing the right thing. 5 per g wholesales isn't bad at all plus a store front is awesome. I think you can stay afloat just pumping out high quality. I just saw the Top Dawg Seeds crew are opening a spot in the city downtown for products, clearly they see a future there as well.
Hopefully the gray market stores step it up and start being more local. Right now there's a shop every couple blocks in the city all selling cheap crap. Its just Zaza/Exotic/Convenience in neon storefronts with dweebs selling dust packs from the west. I seriously dont understand whos growing all the trash? The asians stepped it up the past few years cant be blaming only them anymore. I almost only smell people smoking quiet when i walk in the streets now idk what happened. All i know is i cant smoke on the street anymore without people asking me about it.

Not to depress anyone, but when I look at my legal choices for 28/30 grams at the gov't site, I have 50 choices at $3.57 per gram retail. And that includes $1 in excise tax. In the black market, redditors - who constantly shit on legal - are all talking about their great oz buys at $99.

I get what your saying... I mean even years ago i was definitely selling at 5/g or under after flipping it but not topshelf. Maybe our future is what you guys have in canada right now but currently the quality just isn't there and the value isnt at all guaranteed either. People dont wanna pay so we get garbage but 25$/8th/140/oz is still the reality for most boof budget smokers here at the moment at a shop. straight up old school Black market is better value but can be very much hit or miss.
We only have 2 legal rec stores open and running here and there isnt an eighth under 60$ and not a ton of choice. NY Smokers have more choice than ever but theyre still getting gouged most of the time tbh. I dont sell anymore i give weed away so i dont care at the moment. But personally id be happy to get even 2$ gram per if i moved any of my outs, even though i think its probably better than alot of the 140 ozs in store.
Here’s what my Mac looks like currently & getting $2500 per 500 g bag for this as quick as it can get trimmed ...so that’s good news it was a productive cycle
