Happens regularly for me. Now I just check my subscriptions directly to see what's going on in threads I don't see pop up regularly. Kinda sucks but...
the cutting is easy. avoiding falling branches is the hard part. SOBs twist as they come loose lots of times. i used a climbing tree stand & my harness when doing it here in yard. branch come my way, i'm over the side of the stand...That's a tough job, tried that once for a day and that was enough.

They were clearly dependent on us replacing bulbs every 6 months. Now everyone buys leds that last 10 years or more.
i don't miss that at all...the cost of replacing a half dozen bulbs twice a year pays the electric bill for like 3-4 months...
So I gotta spend money to save money..oy vay!

i'm grateful hps is dead!
i'll be switching to other lights like most. i sure won't miss the heat however. it was nice not having to heat my building during the winter, but when it is the only place in town with no snow on the roof, it "looks funny"...

I am planning on finding a free day to mushroom sometime soon. As far as the k goes. Some days I'm thinking I should go grab some. Other days I'm thankful it requires a road trip. Having it a half mile away was not necessarily the best thing for me. It would be convenient if I had machine that gave me a few 0.07 bumps. But only a few times a month.
