Ha ha I wasn’t happy with the mashed potatoes last night I don’t know why ,used yellow potatoes but they just didn’t taste great this time
Today’s going to be even busier involving Mac one harvests

Man…I just heard David Crosby has died after a long illness…he was 81…back in 1969 when CSN‘s debut album hit…They were like one of the first folk rock super groups…Everyone including myself wanted to cover their song…In the 80’s which was a very very low time in his career his best bud at the time Jerry Garcia basically grabbed him up buy his boot straps and told him you gotta get your shit together man cuz people are missing your music and I just want you to know I got your back and through this we’ll get back out on top man. Crosby said afterwards that he then realized just how much he loved his brother Jerry…RIP David Crosby you’ll sadly be missed.

Wow that song puts me in total recline(all the way back)…In 1972 I came to Ithaca NY for the first time(grew up in New Jersey) and of course it was music that brought me here…It was a big party at the band’s house on Cayuga Lake…brought my 1967 four piece set of Gretsch drums hoping for a great jam…Didn’t know that there was gonna be psychedelics involved…during the big feast a chick was popping these green pills in everyone’s mouth and food and drinks…After filling our bellies full of food we started jamming for hours… not realizing cuz it was my maiden voyage with acid…I was trippin man!!! and it was a freaking blast til we all fell over and couldn’t play anymore…and that was when I knew something weird was happening…everyone there settled into their own thing and I was totally lost and becoming more and more paranoid for quite some time…thought we were all getting busted until this seven toed cat came into the room I was in and started pressing her paws in rhythm on my chest and slowly I started coming back to earth a bit but the floors,walls, ceilings and paisley looking prints were all moving, melting and intertwining…so I made my way to the kitchen floor and sat down…within a few moments the bass player sat down right beside me…not saying a word to each other yet…he finally said listen to this song man…can ya dig it!!! The song turned out to be
“Music Is Love” We just sat there on the floor listening to both sides of that album…as the saying goes ”What a trip”…
Crosby and Jerry getting high together on the other side.
One more amazing artist I probably should have made the effort to go see.
Speaking of effort and going. Having the k guy move 100 miles away sure makes a gram sound expensive and inconvenient.

I never got to see CSN in 60’s and early 70’s but I eventually saw them in the early 80’s at the Syracuse, NY state fair. They did an awesome version of the Beatles “Blackbird”
Once again I find myself absolutely starving I’m gonna have to make this tasty & quick so it’s everything store-bought premade cedar plank bourbon flavored salmon baked there’s going to be broccoli spears and butter sauce from green giant and then uncle Ben’s original basmati ready rice

one a year does me quite well. it takes weeks for my taste buds to recover from a tragedy...
And a cheap meal helps offset the expensive ones.
