I’m better off growing weed & was actually never able to get spores but I haven’t looked recently to be honest with you..Also everything about mushrooms cultivation here is still felony last I heard? These were gifted to me by the dude to the pot shop..It doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do it , because I would I’ve never had fresh …always as you seen the post / dried

I'm not sure how serious they take cube cultivation in NY, but yeah it's likely a felony to grow, despite the low penalty for possession. I don't take the risk any more, but I did for many years, as I never saw anyone go down for personal mushroom growing until they started dealing coke or molly or something, which was not my game.

The spores are as easy to get as seeds. Like seeds, they are legal to order because they don't actually contain psylocybin (under the pretense that you don't spawn them where illegal). When i used to grow them, I straight up used CC from a website I found on google and had them sent to my house. May not have been smart, but I don't think they're exactly high profile, and I think there is a very good ratio of legit sources to scammers, as legit spores are so cheap and plentiful.

Like I said, it's a ton of fun. Pre growing, I had no idea that fungus and plants are more genetically distant than plants are to people. E.g., they don't grow anything alike, and have no overlap in structure. Totally different challenges, which can be fun. The mushrooms themselves basically appear overnight after the substrate has been propogated. It's cool, and quite an alien trip to watch

Beetle is a year old this week. Probably celebrate by buying another 50lbs of food just like every 2 weeks.

you know how much I love animals.. actually all creatures great and small have a special place in my I used to be the owner of Siberian huskies at one point had five and they were the love of my life the last two lived till they were 16 years old and that shows you that I took good care of them because Huskies don’t live that long here are some older pictures

It has also almost been a year since our dog smokey past. He was 13 and acted like a puppy until he was 12. He might have been the most friendly outgoing dog ever. Unlike our current dogs that would gladly chew up an intruder.

It has also almost been a year since our dog smokey past. He was 13 and acted like a puppy until he was 12. He might have been the most friendly outgoing dog ever. Unlike our current dogs that would gladly chew up an intruder.

Cookies scares the shit out of everybody because she is such high energy and she’s very loud and she comes charging at people but it’s only because she’s friendly all they see is pitbull pitbull pitbull but she’s a lab pitbull mix

Echo (presa canario) is good with people and other dogs when I take her places. But around the house needs a proper introduction to anyone or she is not at all friendly. Beetle (pitbull x bullmastiff) has been nothing but friendly up until recently. He still likes everyone he already know but has been becoming very territorial with anyone new that he meets (need to work on that). Beetle also gets along great with the bunny. And I haven't been brave enough to introduce echo except while she is in a kennel. She doesn't exactly sound mean. But her body language seems to indicate the bunny looks yummy.

One of my neighbors down the street in the village has five children they have gardens and started a bunch of rabbits they escaped turn into a colony that is spread all over within a certain amount of radius including my property they come in cookie chases them outside her boundaries and they stay right outside the boundaries I’m surprised the local cats haven’t prayed on them but actually you’d be surprised how fast these rabbits can run…The rabbits come out at Dawn and dusk …cookie make a racket

It’s really painful.. I had to put down two …Stella blue the female who was 15 had a tremendous growth on her arm and it was inoperable and Jack the male was 16 he couldn’t barley stand anymore I had to carry him in and out and he was crying in pain …is excruciating..I have their ashes stored away and nice wooden boxes

Next year the formative plan is to be running the Loompa headband outdoors and I’m gonna be running the barn indoors with what I’m totally sure yet … A good friend Thomas suggested that we both split the rent on a backhoe for the week I’m gonna have them over there and he’s gonna dig 100 holes and then I gotta start thinking about how I’m gonna feed these plants I wanna go with things like Manuring & blood meal and so on and so forth but I need to learn

I got to hand it to smokey. He got really sick and I took him to the vet. The vet gave us some medication and let me know it might just be him shutting down due to old age. The meds helped a little but he kept going downhill. I ended up making the very hard and sad decision to have him put to sleep. The morning before the appointment he passed peacefully in his sleep. As sad as it was I liked how it went. All the kids got a chance to say their goodbyes and from the day he got sick until he passed was only 14 days.

I was also thankful he passed when he did. A few weeks later and the wife and kids were all on vacation. I would have been wrecked if I had to explain to the whole family their buddy died while they were gone.
