Indoors in what I consider to be a cramped environment? I am currently , trying to avoid powdery mildew no matter what don’t let it go below 70° …. & no Temperature swings between dark and light within 10° that’s my humble advice

PM is shitty, I’ve got some now but intentionally keeping @ in one room as I’m testing plants… no better way to test PM, thrips, mites etc than to have them - lol

So PM thrives in IIRC 68-86F range, above or below that it stops…. Exceptions always exist… once inside most grow environments stick exactly within that range so it can be nightmarish - other factors of course at play but PM is a temp whore, different types PM bounce amongst varying species hosts…

But it don’t spontaneously arise, but definitely this year and last in the air more than the previous decade IME and that’s for many species plants….

I definitely have the sour that was @ late 90’s into 2000’s that motherfuckers hoarded cuts like a mofo… main reason I didn’t blow them up when I first found the one seed in 2001 is I was living in Chicago and no grow opportunities in condo I had - it’s legit, Herms only at end… easy enough to self earlier

Once set up in a month it’s paid itself off, I set mine up maybe 7-8 years ago after doing exactly similar to you… then I’ve just added / branched off new lines over the years from there into new rooms…. The time saved is silly, 100’ or 500’ 1/4 RO line cheap

I selfed the late 1990’s / early 2000’s Sour D from a seed I pulled out a lb in 2001; I grew that seed, selfed it @2008 or so, I’ve grown it many times since…

It’s the Sour D I’ve always known from this area, what each man calls what; what is a pickle of epic proportions… !

But nothing smells this good, it cuts through all others (like you sniff 20 plants in a row, regardless of when in that order your nose still has & craves the Sour) - it’s just unique & special…

The 18 seeds I just popped are from those original selfed ones I made in 2008; I made many hundreds, have shared with a very, very few over the past 15 years, only with people in fact that wouldn’t know what to do or capitalize on it, some things even I don’t splurge @ to everyone….

There’s no ambiguity on this end as to what it is…

My first grow was 2011 at 17.5, took over managing a grow for a "friend" in exchange for a place to live when it was still just medical here/could sell to dispensaries in WA. My first 3 harvest were 10+lbs from SOG no veg 3000w HPS magnetic ballasts and the weed was selling $180oz faster than we could dry and trim it. Lost grow spot after 3rd harvest because "friend" was irresponsible with money, told me regrettably many times he wasted over $100k cash in that short period...I was scraping by on just my foodstamps.

2017 similar situation I took over growing for cooperative medical garden another "friend" operated in exchange for a place to live. Helped the flower cycle started by him limp to finish line while renovating grow into 8000w veg/16000w flower from used grow equipment store and started a 30 plant organic outdoor garden. Soon as my first 16000w flower cycle was cut down to dry 10 weeks later "friend" became greedy/combative, so I walked away and he shut down the grow and let outdoor harvest die/rot.

2020 Cookies facility offered profit sharing contract after 90 days to solve grow problems to improve quality/yields. They wouldnt listen to me while I was there, fired me at day 60 and then immediately half ass redesigned the facility with fragments of information from me. Then they lost Cookies contract because they still had the same issues which were caused by head grower/staff not knowing WTF theyre doing to begin with overwatering plants. Obtained cuttings from facility and tried setting up grow at a coworkers place (I was couch surfing) but they kept killing the fucking priceless irreplaceable Cookies clones after I root them. Moved into their house to grow the weed and they got greedy/weird after first harvest of like 6 plants so I walked away same shit different day.

Im on my 5th attempt to set something big up with another flaky partner and shifting ground beneath my feet because I cant afford my own space. Medical marijuana cooperative market I planned on setting a vendor stall up at was shut down indefinitely recently because they were selling mushooms and LSD (just cant get a fucking break).

I told DoubletripleOG Im thinking about moving to NY and he started giving me reasons not too lol, I need solid partners/contacts.
