Chasing The Present
PM is shitty, I’ve got some now but intentionally keeping @ in one room as I’m testing plants… no better way to test PM, thrips, mites etc than to have them - lolIndoors in what I consider to be a cramped environment? I am currently , trying to avoid powdery mildew no matter what don’t let it go below 70° …. & no Temperature swings between dark and light within 10° that’s my humble advice
So PM thrives in IIRC 68-86F range, above or below that it stops…. Exceptions always exist… once inside most grow environments stick exactly within that range so it can be nightmarish - other factors of course at play but PM is a temp whore, different types PM bounce amongst varying species hosts…
But it don’t spontaneously arise, but definitely this year and last in the air more than the previous decade IME and that’s for many species plants….
