The second drops it below 2400 or 150 per Z I’m out of the indoor game
sheeeeet, you going to be happy smoking outdoor after that happens?

only way to hang onto those prices in the future is to start fronting product to someone, first the bag boys, then the live rosin makers, lol.

I spend a fair amount of time hanging and smoking in some of the local sticker stores and it's crazy how today's weed customer shops, nobody even smells the bags as they are all pretty much silent, they just grab some garbage and go. the weed and concentrates are nasty to mids quality and very few people are looking to pay more...
the folks that run these stores always say they are interested in pounds when they smoke killer indoor, maybe you should shop some of your units to them?

the 5 year 1 acre limit to Cali grows expired last year and we are about to see very cheap prices when this year's monster full season grows start to land in the east...

licensed indoor grows are shutting down all over in Mich, Mass, Maine and elsewhere as the dirt cheap diversion weed puts the shitty legal grows out of business. there's no way that this cheap weed isn't hitting the shelves of the licensed east coast dispos too, most weed sellers buy whatever has the best margin, not the best quality and the track and trace isn't working anywhere.

personally I want to focus on light dep next year. east coast full season is never going to be a money maker. over 250 licensed NY hemp farmers ready to flood the market with their boof too in a few weeks...

It will be interesting, from what i hear the outdoor supply is going to be short of demand. People will always be cool with paying 60 for 8grams of quality indoor. The grower gets 2400 the retailer gets 1200 should be how things move forward. There will be even fewer Oregon and Cali flowers grown next year. I also believe demand will steadily increase in the next 20 years, especially worldwide, but only time will tell.

It depends on what your definition of “outdoor supply” is ..there’s almost 300 hemp farmers that are going to be harvested their first thc crops this year and jumping it on the market here in New York State and could be no way to keep track of all that..

Right now here between Seneca and Cayuga lakes in NY my market has taken quite a hit…with supposed good quality weed coming in from Cali, sticker shops peddlin their any kinda quality herb and most of all the Indians sellin hundred dollar zips…I used to turn an indoor grow into cash really quick…now it’s really hard not to cave on my prices…I’ve still got outdoor from last year that I just lowered to a hundred bux an oz. and maybe I’ll get rid of before I harvest this year…my indoor hasn’t moved in a month or so…I’m hopin that once dispensaries open up those sticker shops will start closing down for good or become legal shops and some of those sales will fall back in our hands…it’s a theory anyways

When we were talking
I didn't need to hide
Black stallions through the night
On a perfect ride
I watched you open wide
You looked into me
I had to turn away
I didn't want to leave
Now I'm letting it all roll by
I can see, I can see
A life beyond the dream
I'm watching it all roll by
I can see, I can see
A life beyond the dream
Don't give up hope
Don't give up hope
Keep dreaming
Keep on dreaming
Don't give up hope
Don't give up hope
We share these moments
Till they melt away
To foggy memories
Of a distant day
A curtain is blowing
In an open door
Two souls can breath as one
I wanted more
Now I'm letting it all roll by
I can see, I can see
A life beyond the dream
I'm watching it all roll by
I can see, I can see
A life beyond the dream
Don't give up hope
Don't give up hope
Keep dreaming
Keep on dreaming
Don't give up hope
Don't give up hope
Now I'm letting it all roll by
I can see, I can see
A life beyond the dream
I'm watching it all roll by
I can see, I can see
A life beyond the dream
Don't give up hope
Don't give up hope
Keep dreaming
Keep dreaming
Don't give up hope
Don't give up hope
Keep dreaming
Keep dreaming
Keep dreaming

You wait for all that ^^ to Cannibalize itself, let the dust settle a bit then you enter; if cash on hand cheap assets flailing all over… then you build a proper business, well run & quality & you compete based on ability & merit, not mostly on ball size / risk tolerance and whom you know, political connections etc…

Then it eventually matures into the micro beer / wine like industries….and quality, reliability, consistency, integrity type of business acumen come into play more, vs chaotic limbo mess it is now…

Everything takes time, so very early still and definitely a total cluster, for now… Many niches and businesses to come, early second inning, 1st batter up zero outs..

Peace

Holy crap what a day started out pretty typical I was in a fairly good mood doing my chores everything was getting done I even decided to go out and get some shopping over at my favorite farmers market , so this was about early afternoon and then I came home and you know that moment when you realize something is wrong ? and then it takes another second for it to click into your brain? That moment happened when I saw water flowing down from my ceilings and puddle all over the downstairs …so obviously I left it running filling up my reservoir before I left and forgot about it …rushed upstairs panicked & get out the shop vac vacuumed up about 25 or more gallons before I started ringing our towels.. was a nightmare much worse than you could imagine talking about electronic equipment lying in puddles of water upstairs didn’t even realize it I’m in bare feet sucking that water up I could’ve got fried … nothing blew? downstairs all the rugs got soaked every towel in the house got used I’m b😕 this is why you don’t grow at home specially upstairs for fucks sake!

For sure, buisness is tricky. seems like a lot of growers are quitting these days... are you still pursuing a licensed grow? Not sure what the NY rec market will look like but I can't imagine the price for growers per p will ever be that high in the legal world.
Nope …not now
