Exhaust fan into another room?

Hello,

I have always grown with exhaust fan pipe through the window, but I don't have access to a window anymore for that purpose (too long to explain).

My question is, can I exhaust the air pipe into another room and ventilate this room with fresh air once or twice a day? Would that be enough? The tent will be in a closed room except when I open the windows to ventilate once a day. But I can't use them to exhaust the air from the tent.

Would this work / be enough?

Yes it will be fine. I don't even exhaust and just run fresh air once a day in a 12x12 foot room with many plants

Nice, thats what I was planning to do initially. I guess you don’t use a tent ?

Hi, no I don't, I like to have plenty of room They can only use so much air,air movement is important though to keep wet spots at bay , I use flourescent lighting for veg and HID for flowering

Very nice looking plants. How do you avoid light leaks in your room by the way? Does your window block all the light? Mine doesn't.

you should be fine unless it gets too hot.
Your internal environment will be affected by your external environment.

If it gets too hot you will need to vent the heat out.

You could cut a hole in the ceiling(or floor) and vent out the hot air.

If that’s not possible: then get rid of the tent Skin so you can spread the heat out in the room like Dime does.

You can use panda plastic as-well to make it light proof. If you are in a country where growing is illegal you should do this asap as the bright light shining out from your tent every time you open it is a dead give away.
