I bang my walking stick and 5 cats appear.
The biggest tsunami’s of all time. … this one had a 1700 foot tall wave …can you picture that ?
Lituya Bay, Alaska, July 9, 1958
Tsunamis generally reach a maximum vertical height onshore, called a run-up height, of no more than 100 feet above sea level. A notable exception was the 1958 tsunami triggered by a landslide in a narrow bay on Alaska's coast. Its over 1,700-foot wave was the largest ever recorded for a tsunami. It inundated five square miles of land and cleared hundreds of thousands of trees. Remarkably, only two fatalities occurred. In the wake of the Lituya tsunami, scientists realized for the first time that a landslide—90 million tons of rock in the case of Lituya—could produce a giant wave.
That is what made them look at La Palma, which recently blew. Dodged a bullet there. It is aligned to flood the east coast.

Yeah, I know but it's hard to just let this go. I know I need to though, because I am coming to the realization the place is a banana republic now, and I should be careful. Almost 67, this month. Fight is fading.
So I wanted to ask, when you try, or do, gift some of that fantastic bud of yours to folks like the heater repair guy, do you worry about them suspecting it was freshly grown? Big difference between that bud you have, and what they will usually get on the street.
I don’t care anymore who knows I grow , I could care less I’m way past the point of caring
. We could also gets destroyed by an asteroid collision. But it could take as long for that to happen as for Yellowstone to explode.
It could be tomorrow, or with humanity already extinct....
The Pacific tsunami has caused the Mediterranean Sea to rise by 30 cm, at least as far as the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands...

The whole of Speakers Corner is one big tsunami waiting to get swamped by a wave. I am trying to keep away, but failing now and then. So easy to get caught up. It's difficult when you have strong opinions, but bottom line is no one is going to change anyone else's opinion.
