Perfect Boston Accent -

I was born and raised in Kentucky and spent many years in South Florida before I moved to the mountains of WNC. While I'm sure I have what most people would consider a Southern U.S. accent, I've traveled to the NE and West coast and people have never had trouble understanding what I say.

I would almost have to have a fucking translator to tell me certain things this woman said. :ROFLMAO:

Now all we need some wise guys from Bensonhurst to talk about "...toidy toid stweet inna da Bwonx." ;)

damn starlings are an unwanted invasive species, just as the English sparrow is. both contribute greatly to the decline in numbers of several native species such as the Eastern Bluebird. it wouldn't bother me a lick to see them become extinct here in North America. good riddance!
The starlings cause harm to the vineyards here. The vineyard owners try all sorts of ways to scare off the starlings.

Hello Hippy:)

It's like that for me here, especially with folks from Newfoundland and Labrador, I can barely understand a word some of them say. My Mrs was born and raised in Michigan for 20 years, then Texas for 20 years and here in BC for the last 25 years. Her accent has definitely changed over time.

Yes, the Boston woman did have a noticeable accent. I really had to pay attention to her words.

Myself, I will start to mimic an accent if I am around people who favor an accent. I lived in a community that had a high Doukhobor population wasn't long before I was adapting their accent. Not that I wanted too, I didn't.

Laundry day(2 loads) and clean bedding, my busiest day of the week. Oh well, got to keep these old bones moving besides I like clean sheets.

Starting today it is going to warm up some at least above freezing during the day. We still don't have much snow in the valley bottom, I can still see lawn in places.

I really like this new soil mix. A generic blend of peat and perlite from the nursery; plus 30% Sea Soil(aged compost), 15% perlite, 10% EWC plus organic fertilizers.
It is the first time using Sea Soil, I was cautious at first but when I compare growth with Fox Farm, the new mix is noticeably better in the growth of the plant. As I can no longer get Fox Farm where I live I had to come up with something new.
Not always a fan of change but sometimes you just have to and in this case I like the change. I will look forward to doing a whole crop in the new mix.

Everybody likes change, right. The house goes quiet.

Surveying the food reservoirs they’re not too bad I have a flank steak 🥩 (bought two of them ) was a bit tough ...My mom taught me to serve them at a real horizontal angle sliced thin...if I had a meat mallet I would pound down to Tenderize it .. might end up stopping it down outside

I have never eaten flank steak, I hear it has good flavor but needs tenderising. Do you just fry it up after pounding?
