Star Crash 2018

The dirt looks ok. It's the rocks and those metal things that don't look like fun digging up.
Those metal things are earthworms. The soil looks to have good structure and friability. Some well composted manure and a ph check would be of benefit i think. I suspect you might be growing some monsters this year star. :tiphat:

i owned a gas powered auger ...in theory they sound fantastic ...in reality they are difficult & awkward to use , especially if the ground is hard, and if you hit a rock the auger can stop dead & the torque will throw you down

it's true ...the problem with getting the native soil amended is that the site is remote & i'm getting to be a tired old farmer i don't want to carry shit into the woods as little as i can get away with... i did use the native soil last year with good success ... i wish it was less clay, but there is nutrition in this soil because it's been un farmed ... i had another patch last year in a different location an old corn field it was totally depleted and you could tell from looking at the plants

Terminator worms...t100 model...sent back from the future..

free worm castings

The standing water might be a mosquito hatchery. Mosquito bits could be helpful.

the biting bugs are a nightmare & it's something that either U can take, or you cant... most peeps i know wouldn't last 5 minutes out there working with me ... I use deep woods OFF

And that auger probably isn’t that quiet and would draw some unwanted attention...good idea though to simplify the process

was just about to run out and grab some pics but thunderstorms changed the plans ~today was a day for rest & light duty, yesterday i continued getting plants in the ground & it's going well I'm way ahead of where i was last year the same time...tomorrow the ground will be soft i'll get some more in...the slug & snail bait is WORKING thus far ....2 weeks another application, or sooner if i see activity...i have grasshoppers & they like to munch on the leaf ...fukkers,,,when i'm done planting the next thing is a foliage spray (i'll be using products from this company >>> https://marronebioinnovations.com/ )

plants are nice little mini bush's already they love the sun

i took 4 plants last night from the indoor 2 HK's 1 OGKB 2.0 & GG#4 ... the glue was a biggie & she was heavy and buds are tight this time and skunky ... i got 4 more finishing up

Those plants look in great condition star. What was your method of getting 30+ plants to the spot?

been chilly the last few days

been chilly the last few days

not much new happening around here for outdoor pics ... i went and gave the young crop a feeding today & it wasn't too bad ...2.5 gallons in each arm per run X 6 runs ..this will increase exponentially as the plants grow....my water stash is not near the grow & i may have to make some kind of mid-station to house water so it's easier to make the distance ...the plants look pretty good .no slug damage, but decent amount of leaf chomping due to grasshoppers and such ..i found an unusual insect home colonizing, i should have took a pic...what they do is make a cylindrical column of tiny sticks and implant it as a house in the leaf ,its bizarre i'll try to get a pic ...also i have the kind of bugs that make foam homes ...looks like spit ...next crop chore (tomorrow) is foliar of this >>>

(i have a 2.5 gallon hand pump sprayer)

I decided to treat myself to a much needed new Rig ... it's American Made Glass thick borosilicate ...the quartz banger is extra thick & the down stem is removable so you can clean the beaker precisely :) this piece hits real smooth ...getting set up for a large Blue Dream extraction run ... my 1st dab of the day tends to be BD because i find her high to be more pleasantly uplifting then my other current strains...she's very easy to enjoy

That will be a cinch to clean star. I was into BD for a stretch. I liked it.

whats up tonight is that i just met a new friend but i don't think the animal appreciated me too much ...showed me it's ass .. this is one of the reasons why U have to be cautious in the woods
