In retrospect from the previous grow I would say to make sure you use at least partly organic to supply nutrients. Also, make sure you add myco (if in soil) and put molasses in your water to feed all the microlife from all the stuff in your soil mix. I flushed out the Canna for a couple of weeks so I'm not sure if I was over using it or what - while the final product was strong as hell, reeked and was COVERED in trichomes - the flavor wasn't as good and the smoke was without a doubt harsher. Also could have been a lot of plants too close to the light - the heat could have volatilized all the terpenes.
So - some data.
*They like biobizz - I know this for a fact.
*They like having some organic nutrient sources as well as beneficial fungi and molasses feeding - although feel free to use your chemical nutes / additives / enhancers - you will just need to use less of those expensive things .
*If bottom branches or even some side branches are not recieving enough light, the plant will actually just kill them off instead of those parts yellowing or whatnot.
*Ideal distance from a 600 watt HPS is at least 12-14 inches to as much as 16-18 depending on where in flower they are. ABSOLUTELY no closer than 12 inches towards late flowering, even with cooling.
Yield:
Round 1 - 14.5 ounces from 600 watts - biobizz run. 14 plants.
Round 2 - 23 ounces from 1200 watts - Canna run - 8 large plants.
*Yield can be as much as an ounce per gallon of medium with one of the phenos - this one has superb structure and an AMAZING almost completely in the head haze dominant high - has the smell and taste of it too. Just unforgettable. I call this phenotype 6 (Originally coming from seed #6).
This pheno takes 12 weeks to really finish but is completely worth it.
*Nutrient measurements - for both biobizz and canna they will quickly become hungry enough for full doses by the time they are a month old - even less for clones. In flower, I often used the maximum doses on both of these and I was still seeing some minor deficiencies of nitrogen (not a bad thing from week 5 onwards) and potassium (definitely a bad thing). So, they get hungry - just understand what they are telling you and you'll do well.
I'm currently prepping some clones once I know which pheno is which (lost the damn labels) - I will make sure to actually take some pictures this time. Best of luck to all those who are growing this unbelievable strain - as always props to NS for making it so.
Peace.
