hey nuggetshiner and erone who posted in this thread. my last grow was a aloha ww x ssh too. the seeds were gifted to me so i dont know really whos genetics they are. but out of 4 i got only two females.

here is a picture of one of the plants and mind u this is one plant with two differnt phenos. haha this plant looks so ridiculous but its always fun to show.

great pics btw the way; very good with closeups.

Don't discount the poor pathetic pheno, looks like its got a lot of haze genes in it.

Yo Nuggetshiner - I have six females in flower right now (and two plants that are still undecided). I found one short squat pheno (extremely branchy I got six clones off it before it got too far in flower). I found a few hybrid phenos and couple that are slightly haze dominant. Not sure if I even have a socket pheno although since I'm only at day 10 in flower for the first plants I have yet to see. Most of the phenos really love their nutrients and even feeding at full strength (10 ml terra vegas and 10 ml bio bloom per gallon) some are still looking a little yellow. I'm growing them under a 600 in 2 gallon pots, so hopefully I'll see some nice yield about what you got (I think you said 1 gal pots but under a 1k, yes?). You grow among others has also convinced me that going the route of 2 600s is not nearly as good as having a 1k. Also did a little research and it turns out some people pull more weed off a good 1k grow than a 2 600 grow, something about much greater intensity and penetration vs a greater coverage area. Anyways, gorgeous looking nugs. I am anxiously awaiting my harvest and I hope the shorter pheno has a slightly shorter flowering time.... only 9 weeks to go!!

If I took the Waif and put her with Miss Clumpett or Sockett you'd see the
huge diff in height and structure. All the shorties were 10 wk phenos. I'm
curious how long yours went?

Sockett, she's nothing less than excellent. Took awhile but well worth the
wait imo. Her, the Waif and Miss Clumpett all top notch smoke. Been smokin
this and Orange Diesel mostly lately. 3 to 5 hits of Sockett and I'm smiling for
a couple hours. OD same thing.

more beans down and look for her so I can clone. I'd like to send her out on a
date with my Johnny Blaze male. I fed'em pretty good with the N through
the sixth week of flower and they all loved it except two of the sativa plants.
When I cut the N back everything was fine.

Dont want to bust your balls, but that can not be true. What we call phenotype are the 'outer' characteristics of a genotype. And all the cells on that plant have the same DNA.

The short pheno I have seems to be faster flowering than the others as I can see that the pistillate structures are more developed. They plants are in 11 days of flowering right now. I have lots of nice clones growing and rooting. All the plants save for the very sativa dominant pheno eat up N, I'm feeding them half Canna Terra Vegas and Half Bio Bloom every watering and I'm still seeing some yellowing. I think I'm going to increase the total fertilizer to 30 ml / gal as opposed to 20, 15 of each. I was thinking of phasing the N out after two weeks but the plants seem to really be eating it up so I'm just going to go by what they tell they want. I am hoping that the short pheno finishes in 8 to 9 weeks - if she yields well and has a good solid high she might be the keeper (very branchy, vigorous, easy to clone). Several plants have a heavy appetite for P as well, I'm seeing some P deficiencies (darker blotches on the leaves) even with feeding every watering.

Nuggetshiner - did you get a shorter (probably WW dominant) pheno that had much tighter internodes and a lot of branching? If so, I'm wondering how long it flowered for and what the yield was, and what characteristics the taste and high had. If not, I will of course have no choice but to post a smoke report later .

Hey skylined Mine had no prob with the N. I use PBP and typically use
the veg nutes full strength by the 3rd week of flower switching to full
strength bloom by the 6th week. I up the N if I see any N type yellowing of
lower leaves in the first 4 wks and cut back if I see any rams horn type leaf
curling toward the top or too dark of leaves. I was surprised at the N
consumption of the sativa leaning phenos. I did max two out but when I cut
back they responded great. I usually keep feeding some N deeper into flower
with a sativa leaning pheno since they will prob flower longer. My experience
is bigger better buds by feeding some N deeper into flower. Don't
notice them getting more leaves, just healthier better leaves and buds. Never
had any P deficencies. I use a liquid bat guano p-k at diff strengths all
through thier life, even veg. I don't use a lot of stuff, I get a kick out of all
stuff I see peeps using, lol. I use....
PBP veg & bloom
CalMag
Liquid Karma
Liquid PK bat guano
Molasses/honey mix
that's pretty much it for ferts. The honey shouldn't be listed as a fert. So
really only four things. KISS. I love it.
Same stuff for dirt & dwc.
About half my girls were in the 10 wk range, didn't have anything finish earlier
I don't think. All were done by 13 wks. There were four I believe that had the
shorter stature which is weird considering the parents but there they were.
The two that I felt were WW dominant were medium sized plants. White
Widow stretches but not as much as SSH. In post #80 you can see the bud
structures and the weight for each plant and in earlier posts I listed the height
of each plant as they were harvested. Everything thing I've smoked has nice
flavor. The Waif and Sockett are both top notch flavor and high. The one that
had the strawberry smell in flower did retain a bit of that aroma and has a nice
berry hints in the smoke. Nice high but not as powerful as the others. It really
is a nice "daytime high" as they say.

Ok I have 5 that are now in week 4 of flower (day 21 of flowering). They are getting fed an awesome feast and thusfar they are liking it although due to the higher concentrations I might give them one watering off and just give em molasses and straight water. Anyways:

5 ml Terra Vegas
15 ml bio bloom
10 ml top max
2 ml super nova
2 ml dark energy
1 ml floralicious plus
2 somewhat heaping teaspoons of grandma's molasses

*This is all per gallon

I haven't checked on them in about 48 hours now so I am looking forward to when it's lamp on time tonight. I still don't have a good camera or a working safe upload location (i.e. NOT my computer), so if worst comes to worst ill have to post pics of the end of flowering or from next run (I got so many clones, probably took too many but I can just do a more SOG style next run). Got 10 in flower total, I'm staggering the timing of adding more plants ALA BOG style (didn't even do this consciously it was just kinda like "ok these three plants are big enough let's transplant em and add em in". Got space for 6 more coming in the next week or two.

mine went about 9 weeks. i actually could have let them go one more week but i really fukced up with the photo period. i really stripped them of their potency by doing that. so i figured theyr werent going to get any better from one more week so i chopped.

haha well i don't have any balls to bust so too bad cause im female. anyway i know it really didnt have two different phenos but it sure seemed like it. funny how short and squat one is and how long and lanky the other. never had a plant that looked like that. but those seeds were f2 so tons of crazy variation.
