SSH in coco

Thanks mixin. I really wish I had kept better tabs on this one. I want to start doing real grow reports. Im not so much into the smoke reports as it is all subjective... I think I can really do coco now. Anyone reading this and thinking you would like to use coco, really needs to get some meters before they start using coco, before you begin to nute anything!!!

Lookin good jws0007. i have 13 SSH clones along with 3 others (Lavender, Hindu Kush, OG Kushx?) that just went into rockwool on monday...when they are rooted i'll be putting them into 5" square pots with Botanicare CoCogro, vegg for 7-10 days then flip them into flowering. you can check out my gallery to peep the some pics. I'm eager to see what these bad bitches look like when they start to pack on weight.

you need to feed freshly potted coco plants very heavy, EC 2.0-2.2. water 1-2x per day for 3 days at this strength, then back the feed down to 1.6-1.8 and continute.

coco has a high CEC and needs to be 'charged' with nutrient before it becomes available to the roots of a plant. Feed HEAVY and OFTEN first 3-5 days, back off after that point.

Your plants are looking great jws!! I was a soil grower converted coco grower myself and I am very new at it. I think I have a mg deficiency like you had earlier. I am curious, do you feed your nutrients every time you water and how often are you watering now? Your plants did a fantastic turn around. Thanks.

Here they are happy and healthy. SSH 1,2,3 and mongrel in that order. Godspeed I am feeding twice then straight water. I had started out watering on a schedule but switched to watering by feel. Once the topsoil is dry I lift up the pots and if they are light (low on water) I give them more. Im telling you coco has got to be the easiest stuff you can grow in!!!

Thanks I will give that a try. I am using Botanicare's Pro Bloom. I am using a hempy bucket and mixed in perlite, alfalfa meal, worm castings and bone meal a few months ago. I will up my feeding schedule, she does look a little hungry.

jws the haze will be sharing a home with the other girls that i have currently nirvana's white rhino & jock horror

Those look awsome reggie. I believe the jock horror are supposed to run long. White rhino is a great knock your dick in the dirt smoke. I have grown both white widow and ak and believe you me they are some of the tops. Ak is probably top 3 for me.

Happy New Year!

The girls are looking great! how long is the flowering on these strains?

jws0007, curious you mention repotting shock... I haven't noticed any repotting shock with coco. In fact, I've noticed growth bursts just after repotting...

Repuk good to see you again man. Happy new year to you too. Im not so sure it was as bad as it sounds. If I had done it in soil it may have been worse. There was some leaf droop after the transplant but just enough to make you notice. I did notice after about 3-4 days there was a height explosion out of the ssh and our little friend mongrel began to seriously bud up. I wish you all could come over and look at these girls. Some of the best stem growth an root formation I have ever seen! I really wanna see what comes out of these pots when they are done.
