Couldn't tell ya,, we only grew a few a year back,, srry,, its just a case of sow n see with this one

here is a ssh f2 freebie I got with my SSSDH. The pic is at 36 days. Im thunkin its a 9 weeker from the looks of how much it has filled out so far but I could be wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The main top was bent down at week 3 to promote the side branches to grow equal.

No worries at all, she is a beauty either way. Just wanted to get an opinion on if ya guys think from what she looks like in developement if ya could guestimate her cycle time like 9 weeks from the pics. They were taken at 35-36 days of flower. I have never grown any haze or haze crosses so I have no clue how they grow. Gonna go check out the vendor forums though DocLeaf, good lookin out.

Looks like a 10-12 week type.. its hard to tell, the longer you leave them the more they stack it on. One love!

alrighty just noticed at day 37 that the hairs are turning orange. Upon further investigation I see random green pods coming out of the pistils at the end of the orange hair.............SEEDS! it looks like. It only looks like theres a random seed on the top of a few colas. No pistil swell from seed production so far and sprayed with reverse to kill any seeds growing.

Thanks for the F2 freebies! Got a beautiful male SSH in veg right now, cloned it and gonna collect some dust for when I run the rest of the pack & find a choice female, hopefully. Normally I wouldnt bother getting pollen from any old male but this guy looks great, awesome structure, very vigorous branching, and eats like a bird.

Good stuff The donors of these seeds had the same idea,, let the plants flower 40-50 days before introducing the male pollen and you'll reap a nice % of smoke ,, full of nice seeds to grow

Keeping the males going is the MOST important thing!

I only started one SSHf2 and it has grown to over 6 feet in veg and the tallest plant in the garden. Then I left town for 3 days and returned today to find ball sacks everywhere. But it seems like it also started throwing a few pistil hairs at the same time. I'm wondering if I've got a full blown hermi or just a bad bad badass male?

Cool Moe : sorry to hear this. Are these SSH F2 freebies from fritillary? This is the first hermi we've seen in these.

Arthritis sucks : what does she smell like? Is she sweet n sickly? Because that flower there looks more like the Cheese x SSH did As already mentioned there was a mislabelling on one batch of freebies (i.e. some Cheese x SSH went out instead of SSH F2 as freebie one time by mistake). Looks dank anyway

How can we tell if the SSH F2's we have are really SSH or the Cheese cross? What is the difference in seed shape, size, color, ???

Good question... who knows is the answer... lol

Seed shape,, size,, colour,, ?? Haha ,, that's near impossible to differentiate since the SSHF2 were listed #1 to #9,, (in bank cash bags originally). We could take a macro photo of the seeds, but we'd guess some of the # will look like the ChxSSH seeds anyway... and we never gave any # on these freebies,, sometimes they are mixed up #3 n #6, #7 and #1 whatever...

Simple Answer: Dark and Stripey,, but not as dark as the #3s .. lol

This is just a small selection,,

The Cheese x SSH [So7omon Seeds] bulk were sent to us for "safe-keeping" unlabelled (haha).. so we just assumed they were bulk SSH F2 at the time and just threw a load in a bag and sent them in as freebies and to my cats in Norway... (only later when the breeder asked about their Cheese x SSH stock did we realise the mix-up). Such is life ..

The ones with Cheese in them grow faster (hybrids) and smell like something died in the corner of the room. The flowers grow as wide as coke cans... while the SSH F2,, are just Super Silver Haze F2s ... not hybrids.

This mix up only happened once,, with 200+ seeds on over 2,000+ SSHF2 sent IC,, sometime last year... (kick-ya-self style,, few thousand $$$ down the drain that day type mistake). The breeder hence lives n learns about correctly labeling stock before sending it over to FRT in future They have taken their stock back (for safe keeping n breeding) so we cant take a photo of them... if someone has a pack to hand they could,, and we'll image the SSHF2 seeds

Im getting yellowing leaves all over like its trying to finish already, even with a micro boost of nitrogen thinking since its a longer flowering strain that it might need it. And still yellowing.....buds are spittin out a few new pistils but was wondering if it is the Cheese cross, will that make it a shorter flowering strain? I can't get it to go green again like it wants to finish no mater what I do....even maxicrop foliar which always works isn't doin a thing......Is it time to chop?
