grew as slow as the Urkle....but much bigger.
this one had at least one round of cuts...b4 revegging and flower.

Here's a big Urkle gal I did in coco DWC a while ago that finished precisely as above ^. You can tell this SR71 is a hybrid for sure. I can see how SR71 is a bit of a bigger grower, yet retains Urkle's leaves and flowers. Just opinion, we all know how environments come into play, but tha characteristics are uncanny.

I don't think this is an urkle hybrid.
It's different.
They just look alike.
But this is more of a Lavender hyrbid bro.
I've smoked a butt load of urkle in my day and this isn't an urkle hybrid.
It has a different smell completely.
Not grapey but incense like lavender earthy hashy Kush, like Bubba kind of...But it isn't Bubba in it,I don't think.
It's closer to my OG(Kush pheno) then Bubba.
It smells alot like real lavender. With an earthy kush aftersmell.

I know, that's why I said the similarities follow through mostly in tha leaves and nugs. I can definetely say tha tastes and aromas are different, as well. I agree, but that doesn't mean they're not possibly related.

P.S. Flower Urkle out in a bunch of different mediums and nutrient regimines, you'll get a PLETHORA of aromas and flavors. I think that's why she gets re-named under so many different nicks these days to tell ya' tha truth.

So true! shit ive grown out the same cut from my buddys up in Benbow and you would think they were related but you wouldnt think it was the same cut. The urk and its hybrids throw everyone off with there variations, so far for me personally the most notable ones have been Mendo Purps, Lavender, Urkle, Grape Ape , and Gods Gift which the one I have grows so much faster and produces very nice. Mendo Purps seem to be closer to an original. Either way im all about well grown quality herb. Whatever people end up calling it , shit I could tell bros what the cut is, and they still will call it whatever they want! haha.. Either way thanks for the sweet pics and knowledge on what your cut does Jdogg!

The SR71 PK is the slowest plant I have ever worked with.

I have got it in veg, under HPS for 10 days, and it has grown maybe 1 inch.. total. Granddaddy veges much faster, from previous experience. I like to bloom the purples at 8-10", 8" being minimum. A good GDP clone gets to 8" in 10-14 days veg. this SR71 PK looks like she will need 14+ days... I am hopsing she explodes and starts growing quick soon, but so far she is a SNAIL in veg...

Yeah there slow but mine started growing a little faster right around the ten day mark when the roots got a nice hold but still slow. I got urkles veggin right next to them that are just as slow. All the purples i have grown have seemed almost the same except the gods gift. I havent flowered it yet but it is the only purple i have besides lavender that looks noticably different in veg. Looks like it might have a liitle stretch and a little more vigorous in veg.

My buddy just finished some of these SR71 PK's I gave him. For anyone thats not already aware, this strain is Ultraviolet from k at trichome tech. All I can say is spectacular, we found it to be more dense, better smelling and tastier than most of the other purple cuts in the bay area. THANKS SCRAPPY!. Anywho, a friend has some of these that are 2 weeks into veg with co2 in a sealed room, I'll take some pics today and post them. They are the bushiest little girls I have ever seen...its like the 70's all over again.

Purrpullkush is 100% correct on its origin, its from K at TT and it came from ultraviolet seedstock. SCRAPPY is more informed and on of top of his shit than almost everyone on this site. He has mentioned this lineage several times and I take his word over most. He is the one that used to make the clones for SR-71, so I figure he has first hand knowledge of its origin.

So whats in Ultra violet then?
It's Lavender x with ?

Gods Gift is bomb.
I can see urkle having a lot of variation.
It seems like the really landrace type kush hybrids. Or even some ghani's. are very sensitive to how they are treated.
If you treat it wrong it messed with the taste.
My Kushy OG is like that. And from what I can see urkle is probably just a landrace indica from Pakistan or somewhere around there.
Maybe the kush mountains in afghanistan. Just a guess though.
I still don't think this PK and urkle seem related. The smells are just too different.
But like you said guys, maybe I just need more experience with it.

I just finished my SR-71 PK last week. I had it side by side with GDP. I don't see any realtion in these two strains other than they're both purple. Plants are completely different in smell, size, and feeding. PK has a much sweeter smell, the GDP and Urkel have a more skunk smell. GDP is a heavy feeder, PK is a much lighter feed. As far as yield, PK crushes the GDP. Overall, I still like the GDP better.

here's some vegging, 17 days from roots and they are 6-8" tall.
Meanwhile, another table across the way also vegged for 17 days, Hindu Skunk is 15" tall, and about 3x the biomass.

I caught them sleeping..
