SR 71 Purple Kush...5 weeks

Smells like Lavender kush so far.
Very nice.

I'll make a smoke report when it's done.
But it seems like a keeper from the look and smell of it.

It has some purple on the tips of the calyx's. Like Bubba gets.
But the rest will turn purple towards the end, I'm sure.

Does anyone know the lineage of this strain?
I forget.
I'm pretty sure it's got Lavender in it. But not sure what else.
Or what the Kush is in it.

Scrappy recommended 56 days till harvest, but a High Times pic and description of trichome tech Ultraviolet, which is a dead ringer for the SR-71 PK and its reputed origin, recommended 60 days. We don't think that you can go wrong either way.

Didn't you previously ditch this PK when another norcal PK was acquired? We're glad that you seem to have changed your opinion of it. :smile:

No ,I ditched the Graberville PK.
I wouldn't ditch anything until I grow it.
I grew the Garberville PK 3 times and it just wasn't my thing.
This one seems more up my alley.
It smells amazing.

I'm not sure of the lineage.
I'd like to know though.
I think it has Lavender in it. Pretty sure it does.

It's some sort of Urkle knock-off, maybe an s1. I grow Urkle and PK side by side, they look identical. The difference is in the smoke. Urkle tastes good right away. PK needs a 2-3 week cure to taste good. Urkle is quite a bit more potent.

PK is an excellent commercial purple though:



GodsGift is my favorite of the NoCal purps.

It was in the Bay Area Clones thread, if memory serves. Our SR-71 PK turned deep purple and was the spitting image of the pic of Ultraviolet from HT.

It looks like I could feed it even more then I have been from the looks of yours.
Yours has more leaves. Probably from being hydro and getting more food.
I'll up the dose a bit.


This PK and urkle seem different to me.
The PK is more of a lavender smell then urkle's grape incense smell and taste.
We'll see which one ,if not both ,I end up keeping.
