HYDROPONICS
How long has this problem been going on? 6 days
Are you growing in a PVC grow tent? (example: Hydrohut or any other non brand tents) No
What system are you running? (DWC? Ebb flow? Aero? Water Farm? Flood Tables? and so on...) Hydroton tables/top feed
What STRAIN are you growing? Orange Kush
What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?) Clone
What is the age of your plants? 60 days
How long have they been in there mixture they are in now?(coco, soiless etc..) 50 days
How tall are the plants? 20"
What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Vegetative
What Technique are you using? SCROG
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.) Hydroton
What is the Water temperature? 68-73F
What color are your roots? White? Brown? Are your roots slimy?
What Nutrient's are you using?(If growing soiless) Supernatural Gro Aqua, Hygrozyme
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* Currently Supernatural Gro Aqua@550ppm and Hygrozyme@8ml/L
How often are you feeding? (If using soiless) 3x/24hr lights on only
How often are you giving nutrients? (If using soiless)
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? 6 of 7 days (on day 7 I follow leach recommendation with Supernatural Super Leach as described on container followed by fresh RO pHd water remainder of daily feeds)
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect) I add Supernatural Gro Aqua into RO water until I see 550 ppm (stir well), add Hygrozyme at 8ml/4L, then adjust pH to 5.6.-5.9. I check and adjust pH daily to these levels. I usually drain res after day 3 and give one flush with RO pHd water and then fill res again with RO water, add nute blend and then check and balance pH of solution.
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using? between 550 and 650ppm
What is the pH of the "Tank"? I adjust to 5.6-5.9 daily. Usually I see a rise in pH from day to day so I use a pH Down solution (Mad Farmer brand produced by local hydro store guys).
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment?Yes. I purchased new calibration solutions 4 days ago and recalibrated the meter. Meter works off two point calibration.
When was your last watering? Today
What is your water temps? 72F
When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional) 2 days
How often do you clean your system: example: Flush out water replace with clean water and nutrients? 3 days
What size bulb are you using? 1000w
What is the distance to the canopy? 20"
What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity)? 45-60%
What is the canopy temperature? 85F at hottest
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range) 85 day / 72 night
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) Exhaust 465 cfm / Intake Passive (door open) / Oscillating fans over canopy / Portable AC (cycles on/off as needed to keep temps below 85F)
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? Exhaust fan runs 24/7 / Intake is passive (open door) / AC cycles on when temps run 85F
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? At canopy height
Is your water HARD or SOFT? Soft
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? RO (5-10ppm)
Are you using water from a water softener? No
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched? 14 days ago
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? No
Are plant's infected with pest's? No
Let me know what you guys think. These plants were just moved from veg room into bloom room 6 days ago. Containers are literally carried from point a to point b so no need to transplant. Same nutrients are being applied as were in veg room. Only real difference is HPS lighting now vs. flouro lighting in veg room. I haven't seen problems like this before with this particular variety. I'm concerned container size has something to do with it because these plants are bigger that what I normally start with in bloom. There are 2 plants per container and the containers are nearly 5 gallons.
