Hi community, I'm in search of a cannabis plant that produce spiritual high. In the research I found 2 strains that consistently produce spiritual feelings: Ethiopia and Nepal
I ordered to Ace Seeds Ethiopia and get free Nepal Annapurna, also i ordered to The Real Seed Company Nepalese strain.

In the packet of Ethiopia are 12 seeds, in the Nepalese Annapurna 10 and Nepalese 13, so I have 35 seeds to find a plant that produce spiritual high.

Ace Seeds description of Nepalese Annapurna:
StructureTall, elegant and flexible sativa structure, thin stems, long internode length and lanky branching.
BouquetSpicy, woody, mountain aromatic herbs, hashish, incense, sometimes fruity (strawberry, lemon, watermelon) and with hints of eucalyptus and mint.
HighMild psychoactivity of moderate duration, with excellent sativa qualities: clean, balanced, refreshing, inspiring and spiritual, not at all aggressive, and without producing tiredness, lethargy or other undesired side effects.

Ace Seeds description of Ethiopia:
StructureTropical sativa structure, strong, vigorous, of strong branching and long node length.
BouquetEarthy and woody African sativa aromas, with floral, musky and fermented citrus touches.
HighClassic African sativa effect: clean, cerebral, uplifting and positive, of moderate strength. It leaves you happy and light, with a big smile on the face. Without mental or body heaviness. Perfect for day time smoke and for activities.

The Real Seed Company description of Nepal:
Height:
Up to approx. 6 metres outdoors
Aroma: Floral, ganja, spicy, herbal
Characteristics: Soaring high, hardy, humidity tolerant

Now you got me interested friend. Sounds very much worth exploring. I think everybody is unknowingly searching for that experience you are describing and just doesn't know it. A lot of times I find just a little bit of what you're describing in some strains. Thanks for sharing and keep us posted.

Good Luck. Defining spirituality as a drug induced mind state.
Made my mon.
Reminds me on my disco times where I constantly meet people with widened pupills on the toilet,
claiming to have conciousness.
after dropping some pills.
I looked deep in their eyes and confirmed with calm voice:
yes my friend, you are concious now.
Then I blessed them with some tap water.

I love how the strains you’ve chosen come from places that have such a deep connection to spirituality. I’m excited to see where this goes. I’m also in search of effects that lead to feelings of joy, gratefulness and connectedness. There’s a reason this amazing plant has been used for sacred/religious purposes for the thousands of years since it was first domesticated. Thank you ancestors! Some people might not understand because they’re exclusively seeking other things such as pain relief, numbing, blocking, sedation etc…to each their own. I also look for those effects at times. It’s such a versatile gift, but most of the time I’m looking for effects that I think of as spiritual in nature!

I find all strains to have a spiritual element to them but the sativas generally come with more energy, but can be sometimes calm, sometimes lairy

The Ethiopian i tried from African Seeds had a lovely calm thoughtful high to it.

Original haze and hazes in general also have a great smiley high and sense of radiating energy to them.

I love how effective cannabis effect write ups seem to be...

"its true its true I read it on the web"
you read enough of the same types of reports for the same strains and sometimes it falls into place.

i do hate when reviews go "this strain will put you to sleep" (they never do) or "you will clean your whole house from this straight sativa named gelato"... set and setting apply here as well as individual chemistry.

idk, one man's "spiritual" is another man's "anxiety- inducing"??

Jah. In fairness: there is spiritual use of cannabis well known globally throughout.
Be it in Jamaicas Rastah culture or this crazy Indian Sadhu cults with obligational dozenfold 'sacrifices' (= loads of chillums)...
Also in the Nepal and Himalaya Regions people seem to care such traditions.
Why are 'hey called 'temple balls'.
(Nepalese and Lebanon hashish seem to be more gentle in touch and impact, due to its
CBD, maybe?).
Its always the question which aspect of spirituallity a drug should support.
I personally see me rooted in the trance and cybertribe comunity of the nineties and soon.
There, cannabis was used as a social catalyst, setteling the space travellers from their sometimes
physically exhausting psychedelic voyages. Calming, uplifting properties and Sediating properties
are essentially the main benefit and depend on time and state of the ritual to support its
catalysing effects. (= being able to sleep, on some stage, despite continuesly walking herds of elefants
beside your tent and in your brain. (giant soundsystem).
Sleep deprevation, deprevation, sensational overaload and rythmic schamanism are just a few
tools... for a productive 'transformation. Not only drugs. But drugs can support,
might be inevitable to unfold the druids magic.
I met plenty of people, who full-filled lived on beaches smoking. Sitting on a stone.
Thats deprevation. Reading boring and senseless texts is deprevation too.
Propably, a good ritual demands 'effort of the participants(work, sweat, travel, intelligence to find the magic spot,) location, spiritual guidance (iMo should not be transmitted in form of literate doctrine or religion, but situative. More deep. Experiences. Storylines. Acting. Art. Social. Experience(experience of loosing something, conflict, unity, empowerment).)
So, I guess spirituality - as i understand it- is rather a more holisitic approach with systemic setup.
As leary would do and love it.
Is that hippy shit? I am Atheist and Humanist. Id claim I grew on experience. Thats a facet. There are more.
Its not a religion. Its applied 'sciences. And it should be ethically provided and be decoupled from commercial
aspects. Rather as an initiation. So it might be integrated with Traditions to reensamble the bondage of experience, for example in: paganism and naturual religion, hinduism?, rasta?

In the seed growers advertisements I rather understand the spiritual aspect to be
a warm blanket, rather settling, cerebral high, rather calming, slightly halucinogen and inspirational.
slight body stone maybe?
Thats not to much to ask for. However. Its very subjective.
Spirituallity is not when a lightening is sent from the clouds above, but rather, when
'the smal padawan' awakes from his dreams, and wanders arround in a world of wonders, as their perceive it. And fingerpoints. And sets goals, in the very best case.
So maybe a little anti anxiousness superpowers, or even a pinch of euphory... ? not to much.
Lets stay pragmatic.

Greetings EsperitDelBosc and All,

I'm somewhat on the same quest. I have thread named "The Search for Trip Weed". I consider trip weed to be defined, in part, by a spiritual nature to it.

I think you are on the right track with Nepalese. Nepalese was used in the making of ACE Seeds Bangi Haze. I found an exceptionally clear and clean individual to use in my genetics. I haven't outcrossed that line of seeds in almost ten years. I have grown other Nepalese seeds that were not tolerable, due to poor flavor and weak effect.

I continue to search. In my past, Thai Sticks were at the top of the heap when it comes to trippy weed. It may be too agressive for the liking of most. However, on the ride down from the peak of the high, it is very blissful and spiritual, in my estimation.
,
I hope you find what you are looking for.

Speaking of Nepalese, I stumbled across some ten year old pictures today. They are the Bangi Haze that appeared to look like a Nepalese.

It wasn't vigorous, but when I crossed it to my line with 50% Burmese ,25% Trainwreck and 25% my line breeding, it took off. I haven't looked back since.

Long live the clean, clear, cerebral genetics of yesteryear.
Preserve, pass on to others, and enjoy.

there's also something i just thought of...

and it kinda goes along with this:
I consider trip weed to be defined, in part, by a spiritual nature to it.

there's also the transcendental side of things where "spiritual" and "trippy" overlap and things really ramp up, "entheogen"- land (although as an atheist, i prefer simply: "psychedelic")... i remember having quite a few transcendental, psychedelic experiences from weed and sometimes it can be very intense... sort of the opposite of the warm, soaring, glowing high that we might consider the typical "spiritual", but certainly would fit the bill if your idea of spiritual would be wild, psychically novel experiences.

i remember (used to dabble in just about everything) years ago my buddy gave me this... let's call it 'spice', definitely not natural weed but hits the receptors nonetheless... and batter those receptors it did: i was cowering in the bathroom, waiting for my impending, cosmic doom... felt like hours, turned out to be more like 20 minutes i was literally unable to figure out how to exit the bathroom to avoid said doom. i finally came down from the peak and had one of the best, most "spiritual" highs 'til i rode it out, probably only a 45 minute experience. went from literally wanting to die to make it end... to "f*** yes!!!! i wanna ride again!!!"

reminds me of stories ppl tell about certain thai varieties... overwhelming psychic experiences + confusion, and added to it that friggin amphetamine level paranoia, and i think it's what ppl say when they use the term "noiding out"... ?

i've had that type of experience from cannabis (maybe not to that same bathroom doom intensity, it was quite the roller coaster), but i'd never be able to tell you what varieties.

anyway, sure that can be spiritual... is that what op wants? probably not... the feel good, daytime spirit- lifting weed is definitely up there with the best for any time, and the noid- fest weed is best used... seldomly and in high amounts lol
