Also never hit anything so young with Eagle20.
Worked out ok. Just stalled them for a week or so.

They will get moved to the big lights soon as I make space.
I'll update these every week from now on.
those look mighty fine, but is that a little bit of thrips marks im seeing on the pic on the right? or maybe its from the pm spray

Update,

My dog knocked over a tray with 4 plants on and they look abit war torn at the mo.
The others above are fine. Phenos 1-5.
One pheno is a beast, with wider leafs.( not shown)
In fact I have 2 with wider leafs the rest all thinner leaf structure.
Seems quiet stable for these thinner leaf phenos,
Let's hope they are the best ones.

There might be a few nibble marks from when they went outside
To do some sun bathing. Dam pests.
These are not far off being flowered, just a few more days to a week then
They will get repotted and flipped.

Any idea on stretch Jonny N?
Think I should veg more?

Hey Mack....the stretch is probably average. The indica/sativa split is about 50/50. The pic that Johnny posted was a frosty, larger yielding pheno. It seems that the thinner leaves tend to be less yielding but frostier. My buddy who is an amateur photographer is going to take some pics next week and I can send them over. With that said, a friend sent over some pics of his Sour Patch Kiss and he had one that had thin leaves with big buds. He is running HPS though and Im running LEDs, which tend to make smaller, tight buds.

I picked up some Sour Patch Kush from a disp the other day. The buds looked pretty Damn good but when I got home there was another story.

Unfortunately, the issues are due to the grower not flushing properly & picking early. Under a scope there wasn't one single cloudy trich, all were crystal clear.

High type was up & euphoric but legs were shortened considerably from an early harvest... Fuckin beasters...

Matt8800, just to be clear, the issue was not one of genetics. Given a proper flush & allowed to properly finish, I'm quite positive the buds would have been better... Much better.

m10, Props to you for running this test grow. I hope you are satisfied with the end results... To be determined.

Hi Matt, I always get mixed up between you and Jonny N.
So average as in double?

I'll be happy with smaller yieding super frosty buds,
But could strike it lucky with the big yielding super frosty Buds.. :)
These are under HPS, so soon we will have our answer.

Seems there is some confusion on this strain name.
Sour Patch Kush,
A few people have asked me a few questions about the name and such.
All i can tell you is originally it came as Sour patch kush but was re-named
Sour Patch Kiss when they found out there was already a Sour Patch Kush.
Im sure Matt can chime in to clear this up

Is there 2 SPK's by diff company's?
Or is Spk also a name of a seed distributer?
Or possibly both?

Thanks for the props man.

That used to be ( still is) one if the Dutchies tricks,
All the buds look great but most are picked early and not flushed.
Can be devastating. Cracking open those beautiful nuggs only for them
To not burn and taste horrible.

Yeah, regarding the name - the smell got some sweet from the kimbo and sour from the sour kush so I thought of Sour Patch Kush. When I googled the name, I found that someone had named a strain that. I couldn't find much more info on it so I thought the strain was no long in circulation and thought it would be OK to use the name. I since realized that quite a few people had heard of Sour Patch Kush so we changed the name to Sour Patch Kiss to avoid confusion. Trying to name a strain is like trying to find a web domain lol.

The official name is now Sour Patch Kiss :)

Regarding stretch, double sounds about right.

On the phenos, I was mistaken about leaf width indicating yield. I took another look yesterday and noticed there were some larger yielding phenos that also had some thin leaves.

Hey mack

Looking good my dogs have caused so much grow room drama over the years
They are now on a lifetime ban haha but I still find their hair under the hps from time to time

Looking forward to seeing these in flower

Thanks

I showed it off a couple weekends ago at the Dope Cup in Portland to a few growers. We have three growers that have placed in High Times Cannabis Cups that want to grow it and enter it in cups :)
