I got involved in the beginning... the second someone first saw gg4 reg seed for sale.

at that time there was no mention on the elev8 website of a bx at all... it simply said gg4 regular seed and had one of PF's pics.

I did the footwork searching the other images on the site, and the results I posted in the glue thread and then replied that post to this thread when it became relevant...

so far, I'm not aware of any pics on the elev8 website actually having anything to do with their seeds... I found many old pics from other people.

on their IG and facebook, every pic is of a different setup, some all LED, some all MH, some HPS, and some were of mixed spectrum...
some soil... some looked like they were on flood tables... none of that leads me to believe that those are elev8's pics of elev8's grows...

instead it seems more like:

"I got green crack..." then go searching the webz for the best pic of that strain they could find claiming that was grown from their seeds or it was their mother plant

"I got the glue"... then finding and posting Purple Frostbite's pic.

... or any of the examples I posted on the last page.

thats what set it off, had nothing to do with joesy not wanting seeds sold... the seeds advertised for sale before the site was edited simply did not exist. And in my opinion, calling some backcross "GG4 regular seed" is an attempt to defraud the more simple stoners.
Hell, I'm still very wary of "Bx3" as you don't have the mothers to the glue... I seriously doubt you have sisdub... you might likely have chocolate diesel, but that cross wouldnt be "the glue" anymore now would it?

best bet for elev8 in my opinion would be to revamp the website for now, maybe grow some of their seeds... and then actually post pics of plants that actually have something to do with what you're selling...

IC has a tester situation you could get folks involved in and get your legit pics that way...

I just doublechecked your site in the interest of fairness to you...
not only are the old stolen pics still posted (except PF's)...
but you seem to have done more of the same shit...

Seaf0ur, I just saw your post and unfortunately you are correct. One of our growers cut down the last harvest before our launch before we were able to take pics of them. When I asked him about it, he said he had pics to make it right and swore they were the strains. This was the first I heard they weren't even the strains and this looks bad on us. These need to be taken down.

We have some crops going now to take pics of. Sorry guys.

not the best start, but make those corrections, keep it legit, bring your own pics and people will move on to bitch about something else...

Agreed. Its embarrassing to say the least and Im pissed that the pics I was given weren't even the right strains. My/our reputation is important to me and Im working on getting this fixed ASAP.

Mack was kind enough to test our seeds and I hope our fuck up on that issue doesn't detract from his grow report.

Kimbo Kush from Exotic Genetix? Not really what I would call a small boutique breeder... I'm not digging all this backpedaling, and self-hyping of their stuff. First it was a breeder's fault, then an employees. Yes luckluster/shitty employees are dime a dozen, but your company is the company that chose to work with these guys. To shirk any personal responsibility imo speaks volumes on how yall operate. Its never your fault, just someone who was responsible who is no longer with the company eh? It is your responsibility of managing brand image/rep. You have to ok everything that comes by your desk... Its good you come on here and at least have discussions, at least thats a step in the right direction, but I have a feeling yall would've never bothered if it wasn't for all the blowback y'all recieved. My 2 cents..

I'm sure most people who frequent the forums, follow the cups, or has instagram is familiar with the Exotic crew. Kimbo was a pretty hyped and well publicized cross of theirs. By far not what I would call a boutique breeder, they're pretty much carried by most if not all legitimate reputable seed retailers...

I applaud the fact that your willing to accept the responsibility, and have open discussions, like I said major step in the right direction. Just know making qualifying statements like that with little to no backing it up is pretty much a no go here. Like seafour said, we're are not the average clueless stoners, wrong forums. Lots of cats whove been here since Overgrow, iconic breeders, and the guys on the cutting edge, call this their "home". If you're intention is to rip people off-not saying you are- then is the polar opposite of what you're lookin for in a forum..

It wouldve been leaps and bounds better for your rep to: not hype much, bring pics, and offer testers out, letting your work speak for itself. If you're looking for an example, look at thedocta/archive seedbank thread... Like seafour said, if you want any of us to vouch for you, clean up the site, do things legit, and peeps will bitch at something else...

Update, things are going well after a couple of setbacks.
( first time I ever got PM on a seedling)

Also never hit anything so young with Eagle20.
Worked out ok. Just stalled them for a week or so.

They will get moved to the big lights soon as I make space.
