How much pollen did you use to get that many seeds? I'm still trying to figure out a seed to pollen ratio.

I can't say with any accuracy. I use a tinny paint brush. I dip it into the pollen paint the flowers I continue doing that for every flower I want seeds in. Those seeds came from 1 6" long branch. I put a tag on the branches that get hit with pollen.

I tried to reverse a wifi#43 so I could make me some personal seeds but the plant didn't look right. All the male flowers did not have the normal color.. aI took all the open male flowers then ran them through my pollen box. I got a very small amount. I hit 1 Bio D flower with the pollen.. I only found 1 seed. Not gonna use #43 on anything else. I will use Kromes #3 instead.

So with this method, you could seed the bottoms, and still have the tops seedless? How successful have you been at keeping the pollen localized to the branches/ buds you pollinate?

Yes that's typically what I do. Larf flowers work great for making seeds. You still need to be careful anytime you play with pollen. I don't get stray seeds normally. I have had some strays. It just depends on how well you kill off the pollen before putting her bank in flower. After I pollinate I let the plants site for a long time. Then I mist the plants with H2O. This will kill off any stray pollen.

I roll the pollen into the corner of a bread bag and secure with a paperclip to keep the pollen in place. I slip the breadbag over the branch like a sock and secure the bottom around the stem. I unroll the pollen from the (bottom) now top of the breadbag and give it a good shake. before removing, I kinda wipe the insides of the bag on the bud and remove it carefully, turning it upside down again as I do. I then use a cheap kids craft colored pipe cleaner to mark the branch. I have pollinated different bottom branches with different crosses at the same time marked by different colored pipe cleaners. I spritz them with water after a day or so.

I've rigged up Something different for my next pollination. Fill a tiny water balloon with pollen. Tied it to a hard plastic straw secured down with a rubber band. Feed it through a bread bag (like Seaz method). I will then put the air compressor into the straw and blow up the balloon inside the bread bag for maximum dispersion. We'll see how it goes.

You can use a cotton tip instead of a paint brush, i think it's more gentle and is less likely to 'fling' pollen around.

If your flinging pollen with a paint brush like I use its not the brush. It's all in the technique you use. It's dabbing motion. No flinging involved...

Maybe when i tried with a paintbrush the bristles were too rigid, i guess you can get ones with soft bristles too, i was just sharing another option.

I found the detailed paint brushes are much more accurate. I can apply pollen anywhere. The tips make it easy to apply deep inside the flowers with a dabbing motion no flipping. You can use Qtips, I have tried them I always had to use more pollen. After your done look at the qtip half the pollen is still stuck to the qtip. Making the pollen is very time consuming. I try not to waste any..

What I wish is that the sour dubb terpene profile would shine through in crosses, but it never does. I have pure sour dubble ill post some pics of her tonight. One of my sour dubb x watermelon kush has a similar terpene profile and structure but not the same. If you ask me the terp profile of sour dubb is what makes her great. Really wish it would shine through in crosses.

I have run a lot of the s1 seeds..I did find 1 that was very similar but no reason to keep something that's like what I already have. My 2 s1 keepers are just as good but not the same terpenes. That's OK I was looking for something different.

I have a headbanger from karma that has the same flavor as the dubb. It just takes 3-4 longer so it doesn't get run much.

Yeah I know what ya mean p.f variety is the spice of life. Two of the phenos of sour dubb x watermelon kush plants I have seem very promising, there are two phenos that i have that if they smoke as good as they look and smell are keepers for sure. I just wish there was a way to nail down the sour dubb terp profile to release to people who can't get a cut of her. Shit I've been trying to find something as close as possible to gg4 cause where I am there's no way I'm getting a cut of it cause i dont know the right people so i know how it feels to not have access to the best strains out there, and it sucks.

You have to pair her with something that compliments her. Closest flavor i found was Odubb from SDF, best all around Sour dubb hybrid was a pheno from Ghostnugz Sour Dubb x Stardog. The StarDubb was super tasty incensy goodness with that Dubb twang on yhe exhale, way stronger than momma too. Both incidentally are Dub x Chem hybrids so i think theres something to that combination.

Another strategy for getting her flav to pass dominantly would be to s1 and find her stench again, rinse and repeat until all offspring show it. Then youd have a line ready for hybridizing and shit would get very interesting.. I imagine this isnthe onlnwaynt bring about a big Diesel esqu plant that fully nails the Dubb flavor, other than pure luck.

I still cant get SDubb to yield for me. I have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at her. she just wont do it. I got the leaf camo all fixed. It's def a Deficiency issue. I just keep a spray bottle of Epsom right next to them now. Anytime I feed them they also get sprayed..
