Sour Diesel=OG KUSH?????????????

That Being said:

A friend of mine mentioned to me a topic in debate in the most recent high times:

Method Man claims taht OG Kush and Sour Diesel are in fact the same thing.

This comming from a guy that did a movie about a guy who breeds a strong strain of cannabis using his dead friend's ashes as potting soil? More than likely MM couldn't tell the difference in the the two because of an uneducated pallete...either that, or he is just regurgitating what he has heard or read.

How come Dawg wasn't used in the IBL since its in Sour Diesel? I have no clue of what goes where with these names but I'm curious because I read in the thread closed yesterday that SD IBL is a secret potion with NYCD made into DoubleSourDiesels then mixed again. I got dizzy writing that last sentance, lol.

Ok, so dawg is chemdawg's stuff? So if Chemdawg mixes his dog's he could theoretically make OG Kush seeds, not the imitations but the real deal? So are they still dawg males or just the dawgs and the dawgs sister and snowdawg etal. ?


I like skunk but why does sour diesel not taste like skunk? Its got a really good taste but its more uppy than any skunks I have enjoyed in my life, its more tricky I guess, lol.

My favorite of the two changed, it used to be Sour Diesel until I tasted the abusive cutting, over and over again. In the strength dept. the OG is more powerful indica meds, in the taste department OG kush is more tasteful even though Sour Diesel is like in the middle between decent taste and really decent bud looks (the buds look nice and make good sticky grease bubble which I like alot too.) OG Kush bubble is devastating, not for daytime ever, unless your a chronic every 10 minutes med patient... My only issue I think with either of the two is that sour diesel only keeps me lifted for about half an hour compared to an hour or two with the og, but the OG is not a daytime smoke like you could smoke Sour Diesel and function really good all day even with heavy machinery, lol.

I have not tried the sfv cut, unless that's what Dante420143 was selling this summer when he OG kush in santa cruz (spc), and if those meds that Dante had was SFV (san fernando valley cut) shit I guess the snoop dogg cut is much better. Ograskal made a thread about it and says the opposite so I doubt I had the real sfv, but again he also had the same Abusive cut (snoop dogg cut) and gave the same report (actually 100000 times better than I could have ever put it).



For good meds try Og Kush, if you want a sativa kick, I think Ken's GDP is more Sativa than Sour Diesel, but Sour Diesel is a legend for our time. if you have'nt tried it, when you do it will be nice.

If I had to give a number from 1-10 for both I would give og kush from abusive's cutting a 8 and the East Coast Sour Diesel a 7.5 and since I mentioned it I would give ken's gdp a 7 and the green granddaddy purple that still makes great fullmelt bubble a high 6.75.

Anything less is uncivilized!

the abusive cut I was talking about was expertly grown by a resident grower here on this site with alot of great karma and they also made the sour diesel perfect of which we have gone through maybe half a pound of sour diesel in about 7 days of total toking and a quater pound of Og Kush in less than 7 days (about 3 days worth). I was so wacked from smoking those two non-stop I think it was a waste of weed to burn so much in such a small amount of time, those cannabis cups specialist must really really really really have some overpowering strength to really really really burn so much. I couldn't imagine smoking over a pound in 7 days (once for 4 days then again for 3 days straight, not 7 consecutive days) of such great pot, until I did... now I know those cannabis cup specialists are just "winging it" most likely when it comes to voting, in my humble opinion (with respect to the high caliber pot) EVERYTHING TASTES THE SAME ALMOST AFTER A CERTAIN POINT.

I like trainwreck alot because its different, like my version of a purish strong sativa I could deal with, and not a wild haze that makes me go loopy and want to do backflips with a bad back. I think it was a good nevilles a few years back that really had me going "round and round" and I have had great mexican thats really killer too.

So again, I wonder what Sour Diesel x Dawg would make, right? is it just me or would someone else love to see that cross. What about Og Kush back to dawg again, might be freaky but awesome?

all i know is that OG kush from the info weve now got(ie Chemdog being the origin) aint no kush. not that a name matters, but all these ppl are now talking like the og is the origional kush and real kush strains (ie strains with real kush genetics from the hindu kush region) shouldnt be called kush no1 actually says it but its there between the lines-check Rez's thread about his genuine kush projects for examples of this opinion......dunno if you get what i mean but i do lol.

Right on Harry, I have wondered about all that for a while. I think Chemdawg posted something about the guy that got the OG Kush and took it to the west coast apparently heard that it had kush in it, so he named it OG Kush. It has some indica in it which I suppose could be considered Kush.

The guy that brought the OG to the West Coast was REMINDED of kush. This is where the "kush" confusion comes in. Chemdawg is the backbone in all of todays sickest strains like OG Kush, Bubba Kush, and Sour Diesel. Not sure why people like Sour Diesel so much but the batches I've had were not so impressive. No where near OG status.

I really think we should come up with another name for OG Kush. These name games are becoming very amusing/frustrating. It's like when George Carlin was doing one of his advertising bits, talking about chicken flavored dog treats. Guess what, no f-ing chicken. OG Kush, no f-ing Kush. It's time to come up with a name that states what it really is or just start calling it OG'ers and lose the Kush part forever.
