here is a update 1 week exactly after the last pic i showed.. this is about a week into 12/12.
i took a clone of each and btw they are smelling great not too strong but just nice smells really dank more than previous grows ..in veg atleast

Well, as you all know I started 3 of 6 beans back in July....all three were male.
Well, On my next rotation about 40 days ago I started the last 3 beans.
Wohoo, 2 confirmed females and one that is looking female (should know tonight).
Anyway, I am ready to start two of the three in about a week or so. I could plant tonight but want to wait another week for vegging.
I am so jazzed. I am secretly hoping the last one is male.

Dan, my first try was confirmed males at about 42. With this second batch, I saw female preflowers at 32-33 days. I have not been back to confirm the other as I have been laid up with a muscle pull. the past few days and have only gone in to water/feed them and check on them.
I still have a some time before any worries.

Hello all,
Well, All three are girls. Kewl, was hoping for that odd male but not this time. Sadly I did not preserve any of the first three males.
Anyway, I transplanted one SDOG and one Superskunk x NL#5 that is quite an excellent smoke into 3 gallon pots today.
I have the other two SDOG's vegging. They should be about 63 days old when they go into the flowering cabinet.
When I started the last three JLP beans I also started 2 POG (Pot Of Gold) I was gifted a couple years back by a seed spreading friend I met here.
Anyway, the POG is a nice yielding smooth smoke with a knockout high. I have one male plant from which to make seed strains from and I will use this.
I have a seperate compartment to keep the male in. Will need to do some research on collecting pollen and the various methods and techniques.
Anyway, I understand on the cure Dan... I am never flush enough with buds to withstand a long cure. I usually start smoking after about a week in the jar.

That is looking sweeet Kushcakes, like a green sword of bud. Missed out on these, but had just grown a round of Mississippi Mud. How is the smoke from these ones?

yo Slickster, smoke from this one is varied... I won't be able to give a smoke report for a couple weeks, but let me just throw this out there, food for thought...
i had four females and 3 of them seemed SD IBL-dominant, smell and stature-wise. 1 of them was stouter, quicker flowering, more compact-budded, and the smell was of a Hall's lemon and honey coughdrop. Simply delicious. I'm guessing this one pulled the OG Kush side...
I can't make statements about potency not having smoked all of them yet, but the OG Kush pheno is definitely potent and delicious. Unfortunately also very gray-mold susceptible. Nonetheless, I will be working primarily with this pheno in the future.
I will have dried bud shots of all 4 phenos when they are cured and ready, in about 2 weeks.

bake at 420 until nicely toasted
After stressing mine early on, and getting 4 males and a female, I shrubbed out the one lady with a good bit of topping and training. I grew her out into a good sized lady, and she's currently at about 3 weeks flowering. Though I thought they all looked like the kush, this lady is showing me some of her Sour D lineage.
There's a fair bit o frost there, and i've picked up a bit of a lemony scent.

I'll probably just drop a few pics when she's done.

PS- the 4 dudes are still hanging around to see who donates a lil pollen to a few branches in a week.
