Decisions, Decisions...

Decisions, Decisions...

I am going to use the biggest pot ever to grow the biggest plant I have ever attempted indoors. My plan is to use the new soil with lots of bone meal, blood mea, some Bloom Guana and Perlite in the mix...We will let this mix simmer a couple weeks before the transplant and then I will veg another 10 days and flower her between 2-1K hps lights. :)

That should get me over a lb because I already grew a 10 oz. SB plant from the same clone. BOG

On the left is the 15 gallon pot and on the right is a 10 gallon pot used for the Giant Bogglegum plant that went 11.6 oz. :)

I have a lifesaver in a 10 gallon pot at three feet now shes a looker! she is an outside girl though several times of taking the pickup out to bring her home and veg her till oct inside. but still have some time to think about it & see how tall she is when those hairs start poping up more.

Back to the seedlings...3.5 weeks

Back to the seedlings...3.5 weeks

At 3 weeks old they got a transplant into 2 gallon pots and now they have been close to the 1K mh as well as having a floro light behind and above. Once these stout indicas root these pots they will start to get taller. 3 pics to see and then back at 4 weeks.

These pics are after only 2 days under the 1k light. Until then they had just one floro shop light... :) BOG

Way to go BOG!

Way to go BOG!

I like your drive, you are driven. They look real sweet BOG. It is amazing that they are only three weeks. I'm right here watching , learning, and starting to really have fun. Yes it is possible because you helped me believe that I can also achieve. My personal BOG genetics are doing just fine. You know those big cups that are complimentarty at sporting events. At 11 days in soil mix they went in from 16oz. cups. I couldn't even wait two weeks. They are from outerspace. They are strong and living in a perlite, vermiculite, ocean forest soil, blood meal, worm castings and marine cuisine. At one week I gave them a drink of 1/ strength Peru Sea Bird Guano. No doubt they will take off. Everythings new to me so I use a little only. I only planted 4 of each of the BOG beans. The rest are safe in the fridge. I want to be able to be able to do it again with more exp. under my belt.:D  Thanks again for all your hard work. <<<<The man behind the curtain who comes out on stage to teach the audience, Bravo, BOG.>>>>>>

July 17th Pics...1 Month old SB Seedlings!

July 17th Pics...1 Month old SB Seedlings!

I just raised the light and these babies will start to reach up a bit more very soon. It is incredible that the seed plants are actually catching up a bit on some rooted SB clones seen at the end of the counter beyond the 8 seed plants in the first 2 pics. :) BOG

The seedlings definately look like the clones but even stouter as seed plants often do. ;)

It's in the roots...

It's in the roots...

This plant started in a cube then went into a 16 oz cup, then a 2 gallon pot, then a 4 gallon pot, then a 7.5 gallon pot and now into the 15 gallon pot! Whew!

Ya know a guy told me that some 30 gallon trash can grown plants indoors once were claimed to yield 20 oz and so far that is the record as far as I know. I doubt I can beat that but I won't lie and that is a promise. I hope to exceed a pound from this and she is gonna get some more vegging before going into flower.

You probably wonder how tall a plant that is 6 ft in veg will get in flower and I estimate 7 ft. This is because this clone has shown that it grows little in height after initiation of 12/12.

Look at the pot now...

You can tell when a transplant is called for...

You can tell when a transplant is called for...

The plant just starts to look a bit lighter green at the growing tips and they get smaller and grow slower. Once transplanted the plants perks up again. I like to time my growth spurts especially the most important one. Early to mid flowering time. By vegging another 10 days the plant will be ready to spurt as it goes into flowering. She will jump up a foot and then start budding fast.

Even I am excited by this show. :)

Here are 2 recently taken sour bubble budshots...slightly seedy. BOG

NICE TREE!!

NICE TREE!!

She is going to be something! The 8 sb plants i have going are close to the same age as youres .Needless to say youres look happier but mine are comeing along nicely.I made a mistake and did not let my soil mix sit a week and a few sb babys did not like that.Bottom leafs went yellow and thay got a little stressed. Now the new growth is looking fine.I will never make that mistake again!I am looking forward to flowering them.If i start flowering at 2 ft. how tall do you think thay will finish?I like my plants to finish at between 3 & 4 ft. but have 8' of head room so taller would be ok.

thats a huge plant BOG. I am pretty sure that you will pull a lb of that clone. One of the biggest stalks i have ever seen! How long was that beutiful plant vegged for? Its good to know that sour bubble doesnt stretch much in flower. Peace Homegrown

hi bog.
thanks for some really informative posts. i always find it most interesting when we get a little glimpse into your grow world :)
that tree you have grown is beautiful.
are you going to hang your 2 1000watters vertically?
i promise you won't regret it if you do. you really do have to see the difference yourself to believe it. have you ever tried it? it's as though the plant reacts differently to the light. i think it could really help that plant break your record for you.
and thanks for the sourbubbles. they are very very strong plants indeed. mine are about a week behind yours and i can honestly say i have never seen seedlings grow like this.
can you tell me if there is any significance to one of my plants having an extra finger to the 3rd or 4th fan leaf?
thanks
billy
